Pick-up locations are available in the greater Tokyo area. The regular pick-up time is 8:30 AM. However, we also offer an early morning start at 6 AM as an option for people who want a better view of Mt Fuji and don't want to waste time in traffic;) Don't worry if your hotel isn't listed! I can pick you up from any location in the greater Tokyo area including Airbnbs. Kids are welcome on this tour! However, kids 6 and below are legally required to be in a child seat so please let us know in advance!

We had an awesome time on our tour. Kye picked us up promptly at our hotel in a super comfortable luxury van. We took a rest stop along the way which was great. His knowledge of the area was very evident as he knows the best spots to see. Even with a hazy day we got to see Mt Fuji. The shrines and scenery were gorgeous. We even got to enjoy a film on the way home in the van! Highly recommend this tour. Amazing sights and service. If you're looking for a tour that let's you enjoy the culture, and some street food, take this tour!

Terrible experience - be weary

This was an unfortunate experience. Kye isn't transparent about the pricing and neither is Viator. Essentially, you got charged by the hour if there is traffic and there is no well planned itinerary for Mt. Fuji. The best way to describe this is as a private driver that is far more expensive than the other options on Viator or through your hotel. Very misleading and left a bad taste about Tokyo.

Our day with Kye to Mount Fuji could not have been better. He went above and beyond to take us to all the places we discussed, he was in constant contact with us leading up to the day and on the day was fun, informative, easy to deal with and we absolutely enjoyed having him do all the activities with us. I could not recommend Kye highly enough. Our group was a family of 6, with a 10 and 8 year old and grandparents included and Kye catered to all our interests. Thanks for a truely wonderful day!

We were picked up at our hotel in Yokohama, with an early start around 6:00 in the morning. This gave us a clear sky, views of Mt. Fuji, and a tour up to the 5th station. We spent the day visiting gardens, waterfalls, and steaming vents. Truly a custom tour with delightful stories and history. Thank you for a wonderful full day of activities.

Enjoyable day with a great guide

Kye was a wonderful tour guide, knew lots of history and took time to explain the areas we visited. We were fortunate in that the weather was totally clear all day, and had amazing views. We opted for the vehicle upgrade, which is totally worth it, and Kye was a good driver. Be sure to bring cash with you! He recommended at least 20k Yen each. This is for snacks, entry at some locations, etc. He does stop at a rest area with Starbucks and food options about halfway there, and there are plenty of stops during the day.

Our group of 6 had a wonderful trip to Mt Fuji and the surrounding area. We were fortunate to have Kye, who speaks English with a delightful Australian accent, as our guide. He is very knowledgeable of the local area and the optimal times to visit specific sites. Despite heavy traffic on the return to Tokyo, Kye was able to navigate local and side roads for timely return to our hotel. Will definitely recommend this tour to our friends.

Great tour in spite of July heatwave

We did our tour with Kye during Tokyo's heatwave in mid-July. We all sweat through the sights together and still managed to have a great time. I was hoping he was wrong about the traffic being awful that day...but sadly, he was right. Overall, a fabulous trip for our family with 3 teenagers and my olderst son in his early twenties. Are you really descended from a Shogun family Kye...not sure whether to believe you on that one! :)

The pictures don’t do Mt. Fuji justice - it is breath taking and awe inspiring when you’re faced with it up close(r). Kye is an equally awesome, witty, irreverent tour guide who imparts his cultural knowledge in an entertaining and educational way (with an Australian accent to boot!). He’s like the cool friend who gets you into trouble but always has your back. Prior to the tour, he was always quick to respond and very communicative. He tailors the tour based on your preferences, and has the most comfy car. He’s easy to talk to, and broke up the long drive with a short stop at a very nice rest station. All the spots were very picturesque but the climb up to the Arakura Sengen Shrine is a bit challenging (almost 400 steps). The view is well worth the exercise though. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and highly recommend Kye!
