What To Expect

Start your Tokyo experience in the morning and continue by coach on a day-long tour of the city, making stops at each site.

Proceed first to Imperial Palace, to observe the ancient foundations of Edo Castle, a structure that has all but disappeared except for its stone base. Then wander the idyllic grounds of the palace’s serene East Garden, where you’ll have time to check out its tea pavilion and moat.

Then spend some time strolling the streets of Nakamise, a thoroughfare that’s packed with vendors selling handicrafts and food. Head on from Nakamise to Asakusa Kannon Temple (also known as Senso-ji), where you have the chance to explore Tokyo’s oldest and most important Buddhist temple. This sacred site’s history spans nearly 1,300 years.

Continue your tour by taking part in a traditional Japanese tea ceremony. Visit a serene garden, filled with bonsai trees and carefully-preserved architecture from the Edo-era, as you watch this intricate ritual that is as much art form as it is a beverage preparation.

Take a break from your tour to refuel with an included lunch in the Odaiba District.

Move next to Hinode Pier, where you enjoy a short cruise on the Sumida River as you head towards Tokyo’s Asakusa neighborhood. Your ride on this historically significant body of water takes you underneath 12 bridges as you enjoy the unique architectural landmarks along the riverbank.

Finish your excursion at Tokyo Tower, a towering landmark of the city skyline that provides incredible views of the greater metropolitan area. At Tokyo Tower, only the main observatory (150 m) will be entered. An additional admission fee is required to access the Special Observatory (250 m). For those interested, please pay the required charges on your own.
Please participate in shoes which are easy to walk in.
Children up to 5 years old may join free of charge, but will not be provided with bus seats. If a seat on the bus is required for the child, please make a booking at the Child rate.

Tour guide was very informative but there were a couple of glitches with the tour with restaurant reservations being wrong. Also the initial pickup location directions are not very accurate and was difficult to find on google maps. ‘Near3d cat sign’ would have been easier. Bay cruise was excellent and rest of your very enjoyable.

We didn't realize the tour was on a bus however it turned out to be great. The guide was very informative. She gave us a lot of extra details regarding the history of Tokyo. Loved the gardens and enjoyed the lunch. Would recommend for anyone visiting the city.

This was a great day for us to per-view Tokyo through the eyes of a professional touring company. The day was well organized and our Tour guide really new her facts. Our favorite part was the Tea Ceremony. Which was odd because we thought the Tokyo Tower tour would be our favorite. The precision and practice needed to successfully conduct the Tea Ceremony demands respect. We definitely recommend participating in a tour like this, especially if you have never traveled to Tokyo.

If you want to see a lot in a day this is a very good tour ,well planned with the only blip was the meeting point .On the confirmation it stated the Annexe of the bus station infact you need to take the escalator down to pick up your ticket .Our guide Kik Koo was outstanding so informative and offered enlightening aspects of Japan life together with lots of facts throughout the tour .The only downside was the river cruise very boring and the tourist shops were full of tat !

VERY happy with our guide. The Tokyo tower was fun. Thoroughly enjoyed the tea ceremony and the explanation of what was going on. I wish we had been split up at the top of the garden so we could have enjoyed the garden more before our tea ceremony. Lunch was fun and delicious. The imperial palace stop wasn't worth it, a drive by would have been enough. I wish our group would have had a reserved section on the cruise so we could have had more explanations of what we were seeing. The last stop at Asakusa was fun and informative, wish we had more time there.

Very organized tour. Our tour guide, Izumi, was very knowledgeable and easy going. The lunch was very good and tasteful. It was held at Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo, with a beautiful garden, For us the highlight was the Tea ceremony.

Allot is covered by this tour and you have ample time at each location. Tokyo Tower, the tea ceremony & bonsai garden, the bbq lunch, the outer gardens of the imperial palace, the river cruise and the Senso-ji Temple were all quiet different and wonderful to see. Our tour guide was excellent, spoke allot between the locations about Japan’s history. Great way to see lots in a single day.

The tour was very well organized. Our tour guide Mokoto was very knowledgeable and very accommodating. We learned a lot about Japan and it's rich history. We even learned how to count to 10 in Japanese. We saw a lot on this tour despite the heavy clouds and rain. The tea ceremony was a wonderful experience and the lunch was delicious. We had more than enough time to see each stop and spend free time too. It was a great way to start our trip in Japan and get used to getting around.

Our guide was very entertaining and informative about each attraction. We saw Tokyo Tower, Tea Ceremony, had a traditional (no bad jokes or flaming onion towers) Japanese hibachi style lunch at another beautiful garden, Imperial Palace exterior to see the Palace Watch Tower, a relaxing ride on the Sumida River Cruise to the Asakusa Temple plus we drove past many important Tokyo districts like the Ginza shopping district, the National Diet Parliament building and many other similar buildings. So if you’re looking to do a lot of the tourist attractions in 1 day this is the tour for you. I really liked the Tea Ceremony stop since you could walk out in the garden and see a 525 year old bonsai tree. The lunch was hearty and very good (beef and pork cutlets plus veggies). Two minor things for me: the river cruise was just ok and the shopping selection at the Asakusa Temple shops was typical tourist stuff. I could have done without those but you did receive some historical perspectives on the way Japanese temples, shoguns, and the emperor were related. Be prepared to be moving all day.
