We were only in Tokyo for a week and wanted to see as much as we could so we booked this tour the first day to give us a overview of what Tokyo had to offer. Our tour guide, Haruo Takagi “Harry”, was magnificent, and we feel he went above and beyond in showing us the “Must See’s” of Tokyo! It was especially nice that it was just my wife and I in the tour with him. I highly recommend this tour for any first time visitors!

Cherry blossoms at the imperial palace and beautiful Senso-ji even though it was crowded. Our guide was a wonderful young man.
fantastic

Mark was exceptional and well informed, we experienced all of Tokyo that we wanted and more. it was a great idea to just have one tour guide with us for the day as opposed to joining a big group, well worth the money due to his knowledge and helpfulness we really did get to see Tokyo
First Day in Tokyo, great day with Guide Keiko
Julie_W, Mar 2024
I thoroughly enjoyed my day spent seeing Tokyo with fantastic guide Keiko. She is a fun lady who has led a fascinating life as an academic, living on several different continents. Very high energy, we logged 22,929 steps that day (9.3 miles) and 1/2 the day was in pouring rain but this did not deter Keiko! Thanks for a great day.
Great way to discover Tokyo
Vishnu_G, Mar 2024
We had a great guide and he single handed made all the difference between a good and a great outing. Our guide’ name was Tetsu and he was so good in looking after us. We have had some very good guides in the past in different countries. But going out of the way for each and every small aspect to make sure that you are well looked after is certainly a great trait and our guide was fully accomplished in that. Five stars definitely.
Amazing overall tour of Tokyo!

Our private tour with Yutaka Sumita was exceptional! We saw more of Tokyo than we expected by taking subways and walking. Yutaka was so knowledgable, engaging and flexible. We highly recommend this tour, especially for the start of the trip so then you are more informed of the areas you want to visit on your own.
Tokyo with Keiko

Keiko was very kind and professional, instead of the rainy weather we enjoyed every minute’s of the tour.
Wonderful view of Tokyo

Highlights of Tokyo from an expert!
Catherine_W, Jul 2023
A perfect way to get the highlights of Tokyo and to learn how to navigate their fantastic subway system so we could then get around on our own - by the end of the day, we felt like locals! Yoichi was knowledgeable, friendly, and his humor was infectious. Our tour coincided with the Emperor's birthday, the only day of the year the palace grounds are open to the public. Yoichi had never been inside and was so happy (we were thrilled for him and his pride rubbed off on us - we were like giddy schoolkids exploring the grounds and signing the Emperor's book for birthday greetings!). It's a long day with lots of walking (23,000+ steps!)so wear comfortable shoes. I'm 65+ and was doing this with a bad hip (since replaced, so I'm now bionic - watch out world!) and I managed fine since we had lots of stops and could rest on the trains in between locations. A perfect day and a lovely memory.
Amazing introduction to Tokyo
Katrina_C, Jun 2023
As a first time solo traveler to Tokyo, I wanted to see many of the popular sites and get my bearings early in the trip. The tour involved a lot of walking (7-8 miles) and navigating the labyrinth of the Tokyo subway system. This tour was a great way to see so much of the city without feeling rushed! My tour guide Fumi-san was wonderful and provided so much cultural and historical context at each site. I enjoyed our conversations and appreciated the pics he snapped of me along the way. He guided me through the etiquette of shrines and temples, answered a million of my questions, and shared some of his favorite places to grab authentic Tokyo sweets and snacks. I highly recommend this tour if you want a more individualized introduction to Tokyo!
Tokyo in the perfect amount of time
Keely_W, Jun 2023
I was extremely happy I chose this particular Tokyo tour. First things first, the tour guide was waiting in the designated spot when I exited the cab. From there, my cousin and I introduced ourselves… and our tour began. I would highly recommend this tour. There were no communication issues and my guide Kasyua was knowledgeable and professional.
Lots of attractions seen....
Michelle_M, Jun 2023
Lots of attractions seen. Great to have a guide through the train system. Sam was very knowledgeable about the history and monuments. Only wish there was a little more time to spend at Tsukiji and Akasuka to wander around.
Good overview
Bernice_Y, Jun 2023
Hina was an excellent guide and explained the history of various places such as the Meiji Shrine and Imperial Palace to us. Would advise tourists to check on the opening hours of various places of interest. For example, Tsukiji Market is closed on Sundays and Wednesdays. If you would like to include it as part of the tour, book it on the other days.
Tokyo partial English tour
Mary_A, Jun 2023
I booked this tour because of the amazing reviews. I think our tour could have been better with a different guide. Harada was a very nice man, but his English was terrible and was very difficult to understand. His time management was not great, hind sight being 20/20, we could have skipped the walk up Takeshita Dori talking about the architecture of the buildings, we also could have done Shibuya crossing on our own. It was after 5PM by the time we got to Sensoji Temple, so the temple and all the shops were closed. Harada said we couldn’t go inside which wasn’t true. We went back the next day to shop and go inside the temple. This tour extended to 8 hours, we were exhausted. Shorter tour with less stops would have been better. We didn’t feel any personal connection like I’ve experienced on other tours.
Great trips and Excellent Guide!!

We were a family of four and first time visiting Tokyo. Our guide Tetsu gave us a highly immersive tour of must see places in Tokyo. We were glad we could experience best of Tokyo during the tour.
