What To Expect

Explore the top sights in Odaiba, a waterfront Tokyo neighborhood, by bike during this fun cycling adventure that also includes a visit to the famous Tsukiji Market. This 6-hour cycle tour is a great way to get a sense for the rhythms of daily life that give this unique island-based Tokyo neighborhood its character and personality.

Begin your Odaiba bike adventure in front of the Quraz Building near Kachidoki station in the morning, where you’ll meet your group and guide. Continue first by foot to the nearby Tsukiji Market, where you’ll begin your exploration of this massive seafood warehouse and commercial center. Spend some time wandering the seemingly endless aisles of vendors at this fascinating facility selling just about any type of sea creature you can imagine.

Proceed from Tsukiji with your guide across the Rainbow Bridge and into the Odaiba district proper. As you cross over this 2,618-foot-long (798m) bridge, admire grand views of greater Tokyo Bay, making sure to check out the solar-powered lights that illuminate the bridge in rainbow colors each evening.

Finish crossing the bridge and hop aboard your bike to begin your exploration of the rest of Odaiba. A bike is one of the best ways to explore Odaiba’s sights given the area’s sprawling size. Your comfortable bike offers the perfect vehicle for beginning and expert cyclists alike to discover this massive area. Follow along as your guide directs you past some of the top scenic historic sights of the area, stopping first at the sandy beaches of Odaiba Marine Park, set along a quiet cove in the bay.

Then pedal on to DiverCity Tokyo Plaza, a local nexus for entertainment, dining and shopping situated along the water. Take some time to purchase lunch at your own expense from the vast selection of restaurants on offer.

Following lunch, climb aboard a waiting ship nearby to begin your cruise of Tokyo Bay, motoring along the water route between Odaiba and Hinode Pier. Then disembark the boat, getting directions from your guide to your next destination, or continue the fun and shopping in the area nearby.

Yasushi was a great tour guide. He gave us some good information about the areas that we toured. He bought sushi at the fish market and got drinks at a coffee break. He had everything with him that we needed and was even prepared with ponchos when it started raining. We were worried about riding bikes for 6 hours but it is a very easy ride. The area is flat and you never go more than 20 minutes at a time before stopping to hear about a site. If we can do it, so can you!

I recently went on the Odaiba cycling tour and I cant say enough great things about my experience with Yasushi and Yoko. They not only speak great English but are both so kind, down to earth and incredibly helpful from beginning to end! They are also very knowledgeable about the sights, history and current happenings of the city. The cycling tour itself is wonderful not just a great workout but also a very scenic especially with Tokyo Bay in the background and rich cultural experience! I loved going through Tsukiji fish market by foot and trying out the different delicacies and seeing the market come alive during the day. I highly recommend this tour! Biking is such an amazing way to really see so much of the city!

This was one of my highlights of my time in Japan! Yasushi was a great tour guide! I brought my camera, but I rarely had to pull it out because he was taking most of the pictures. This was great because I like to travel solo and so having someone else take photos of my was nice. During this tour it was raining and so we didn't get to hop on the bikes until almost the end of the tour but Yasushi improvised by driving us around and even showing us some additional spots. The walk down Rainbow Bridge to Odaiba was amazing! Despite the overcast and rain, the view of Tokyo still looked amazing under the light cloud of fog.

Was amazing! Really lovely people! Was lots of fun and the fish markets were amazing. It has a really good mix of riding the bikes and being able to stop and look around! They also take photos for you and email you a link, this meant that we could really take everything else in without thinking about photos!

It was fantastic! Yasushi and Yoko were good guides and enjoyed biking around Odaiba and Tsukiji Market. I have heard about these places but had never been there. I even recommend Japanese tourists to take this tour because it was informative and fun with some people from all over the world! I enjoyed very much. Thanks! Yurika Parshley

The tour was in two parts. We first started by walking around The Tsukiji fish market. Then we got our bikes and cycled around Odaiba. I'll try to keep the review as concise as possible covering the Fish Market, Odaiba, and finally the attitude of the staff. FISH MARKET I personally didn't this fun :. It was sorta interesting to see some of the fish however the people who worked at the market REALLY didn't like foreigners walking around, and taking photos. On multiple occasions we actually got yelled at by people in the market. Many also saying not to take photos etc. We just didn't feel so welcome in the market. ODAIBA This was nice. Cycling was fun and we got to see a lot of the sites in the area. Learn the history etc. We also got free icecream! :D. Afterwards we get a free ticket and ride a cruise ship back to the mainland. I enjoyed this part the best, it felt like a true vacation event I'd highly recommend! THE STAFF Absolutely amazing! There was one guy and one lady who was still a trainee. They were both so lovely and informative! There didn't seem to be a question I had they couldn't answer and they made the tour feel very rich. I loved spending time with them :-. VERDICT The Tsukiji fish market kinda sucked. No fault of the tour guides they were awesome, its just the site itself wasn't that nice, or with very tourist-friendly people. If it was just a tour around Odaiba this would've easily been a 4 star. The market however was just bad... If you're REALLY into fish then go for it, otherwise I'd say go for a tour/cruise specific to Odaiba...

Yoko and Yasushi are the best tour guide team ever. They're so knowledgeable and friendly and we had a great time on their bike tour. They're a great partnership and I would recommend their tours to anyone I know.

It was a wonderful and relaxing cycling day tour. With a very helpful English speaking local guide, you could ride in Tokyu safety and comfortably. The experience of riding a bicycle along the pier of Odaiba will give you have another feel of traveling Tokyu. My family enjoyed the day tour by bike so much and will definitely recommend it to my friends when traveling in Tokyu.

The tour is done by a pair of freelance-tour guides, they recently opened up a school teaching English as a second-language, which goes to show how passionate they are in this service. The Quraz Building isn’t hard to find at all because it’s right above Kachidoki Station. , with free wifi in the Tokyo metro lines, you are able to whatsapp the guides if you expect to be late. First of all they will assign you one bike and teach you how to lock the bike with their password locks. Then they gave us five minutes of adjusting to the bike. The bikes we rode around are well-maintained foldable bikes. The foldable-bike I rode on was quite comfortable, and it even comes with a cute complementary mineral-water bottle on a bottle-holder. (I recommend that you need to at least know HOW to ride a bike because being unable to means you are gonna slow everyone down.) The tour to Tsukiji Market involves walking along the food-street where you can buy really good Tamago sticks and grilled Oyster. It started to rain a little and the tour guides were quite prepared for that and gave us all ponchos for us to wear. Luckily the rain didn’t last very long and we were able to continue the tour while wearing our ponchos. There IS a heavy-rain alternative where we could travel by public transport but JUST HOPE this doesn’t happen… Anyway don’t mean to spoil anything for you fellas but do expect crossing the Rainbow Bridge where many breathtaking photos can be taken and riding along the pier in Odaiba, where EVEN more photo-opportunities can be taken… The guide on the history, background and upcoming sights in the surroundings were quite well-done and prepared. The couple doesn’t mind being asked to repeat if you miss it. Their English is very fluent too! Throughout the journey across Tokyo and the sea, the guides will cycle on both ends of the group for our safety. There’s much more to just a bike tour, I rate it 5 stars for a very relaxing, non-rushed bike tour!
