Overview

Good food is in abundance in Bali, but if you want to be able to make replicas of some of the best traditional dishes yourself when you get back home, then book this Balinese cooking class. You’ll go into a local family compound and visit the Gianyar market to find local fruits, vegetables, and herbs. After cooking, enjoy an authentic Balinese meal of dishes such as piquant chicken satay, fresh vegetable soup, and, for dessert, black sticky rice pudding with fresh coconut cream or fried banana with grated fresh coconut and palm sugar.

Kadek will pick you up from the concierge desk at your hotel in Ubud for the drive to his home which is located 15 minutes from the Elephant Cave Temple (Goa Gajah). Transportation from Ubud is included in the price of this experience. If you are staying outside of Ubud there will be an additional charge for transportation.
