Great tour! We were collected from our hotel by our driver. At base camp we were given water and flashlights. We had a private tour guide for myself and partner, Dyangu was so lovely (even though we booked a group tour). At the top he made us a breakfast to watch the sunrise - sandwiches, fruit and biscuits. He showed us around the different areas of the volcanic ash and took lots of photos for us so that we have lots of memories to keep. The wall itself was quite tough but you could take as many breaks as needed. The view at the top was definitely worth it. Highly recommend this tour.

AMAZING

Our tour guide gunawan kept us laughing the whole way and was very supportive when we needed to stop for a break! He also became our personal photographer! We met lots of people and had breakfast/hot drinks served to us at the top! The sunrise was amazing and can’t wait to come back!

Disappointing of overpriced tour!

This tour is too much overpriced! It can not cost so much money, same experience we could got for 20-40 dollars, but not about 89 dollars. Drinks and toilet (!) was not included in the price!!! There was one easy way upstairs with a lot of people around. We travelled group with 7 friends and our guides decided to separate us in 2 groups, that was very disappointing. Btw both guides was professional and helpful, but I truly do not recommend anyone to use exactly this tour!

First in your review you said that "Drinks and toilet (!) was not included in the price", Its included you got coffee/tea at the starting point and also toilet is provided at the starting point. The second one, you are a group of 7 people who staying in 4 different place in 3 different regency so that way split to 2 different group and actually is good for you. And the last one regarding the price, we are didn't know where did you get information the price 20-40 dollars for Mount Batur & Hot Spring included (and do you know the entrances to the hot spring it self is USD15/person). Mt. Batur hike was an amazing experience from start to finish! The company did a great job with logistics. Our guide, Gunawan, was extremely knowledgeable about the trek and very helpful the emote way. The trek is moderate to difficult Because of the steepness of the route and stretch of steep sand. Our guide helped us to ensure we safely reach both ways. I Would recommend using a guide for the hike due to difficult trek and wearing closed toed shoes! The hike was well worth the trek. And Gunawan did an amazing job of making us comfortable, taking breaks as needed, and guiding us through out the way! We were lucky to have a clear sky and the sunrise was breathtaking.

Highly recommend experiencing the sunrise trek. Amazing views across one of the largest and deepest lakes in Bali. Had the most awesome tour guide who was extremely friendly and funny and more than happy to capture the special moments on camera for us. A most do trip in Bali.

Great guide but horrible ride

Well prepared guides- Water, torches and hiking sticks were available. We didn't get to see the sunset due to weather conditions but hey nature is unpredictable. Guide was helpful, friendly and attentive. However, the ride to Mt batur was so bumpy, drivers were speeding on a car with no suspension. My stomach was in knots and was hurting during the climb, add on the car sickness which made me almost throw up multiple times during the ride! Be sure to check what car they're using to take you up or its going to be a miserable long ride to mt batur and up

Amazing Experience

Highly recommend this tour to anyone going to Bali! Our tour guide (Adi) was super friendly with a great attitude. He let us hike at our own pace; taking breaks when we needed and providing water and head lights. He made us a great breakfast which he cooked from the steam coming from the mountain. He became our photographer once the sunrise came up! Unbelievable experience!

Amazing experience

Our driver was right on time for pick up in a nice big clean car. Dropped us off with our guide Adi who made the experience absolutely incredible. He was so funny and made the climb in the darkness brilliant. Once at the top he made us a great breakfast in the hot springs and took fantastic pictures of us. I hope other people are lucky enough to have Adi as their guide.

Gunawan was an excellent guide with a great sense of humor and an uncanny ability to capture the best shot on camera. The hike is not hard, but the guide is what makes the experience either great, or meh. Out guide is what made the trip awesome - Gunawan, if you can either get him, or at least someone from their company. Seems like they have experienced guides.

Our group of 4 had the best experience on this sunrise trek. The views from the summit after the climb were beautiful! We all want to give a special mention to our tour guide, Adi. He was incredibly friendly, informative and professional throughout the whole trek. He set a good pace throughout giving us time to rest when we began to tire. He helped us along the tricky parts of the climb and took some amazing panoramic photos! A huge thank you to Adi! He is a huge asset to your company!
