Tour was amazing, the guides were very friendly, accomodating and knowledgeable. Everything was well thought out even down to traffic management to ensure everyone takes safe and correct turns on busier roads. The locations were stunning and lunch at the end was delicious. Our group opted for the traditional home tour for our final stop instead of the coffee plantation and it was a great call! Learned so much about how the Balinese live and their homes and family structures. I would definitely recommend!

Great way to learn from a local and see Ubud! Highly recommended!

The e-bike tour in Ubud, Bali, was an unforgettable experience. Riding through picturesque rice fields was serene, and our guide's passion for Balinese culture enhanced the journey. Visiting the old temple and coffee plantation added cultural depth, while the stop at the UNESCO site provided stunning views of rice terraces was a must see. Riding along the rugged roads of Ubud on e-bikes was exhilarating. Overall, a perfect blend of adventure, culture, and natural beauty. Highly recommended for an enriching Bali experience. (Shout out to our guides on April 8, 2024 at 9:00am)!
Great tour, beautiful scenery, but don’t choose coffee option!

I’m a solo traveller and went on the afternoon tour - was surprised to be the only one on it so it ended up being a private tour! Ketuk did an awesome job, very knowledgeable, friendly and overall great guide. Firstly I’d like to say - please don’t choose to visit the coffee plantation. The living conditions of the poor Civets is terrible, very tiny cages for wild animals. Kopi Luak is known for bad welfare and this place is no exception. The plantation itself is also very poorly maintained and more of a tourist trap than anything. They strongly encourage you to buy their coffee. I wish I chose to see the traditional house! The rest of the tour is great, absolutely stunning rice fields, great info, and an excellent way to see some of Ubud’s countryside. The meal at the end is very good too at a local restaurant/cafe and a range of options. The bikes themselves are very easy to ride, and they’ll move under their own power without any need to pedal if you just want a chilled experience. Some technical skill required navigating some of the rice field paths (they’re a bit narrow), but most moderately experienced riders will be fine. Overall, recommend - just avoid the Kopi Luak!
Nice Glimpse Into Balinese Life

The bikes were easy to master and there were two guides as well as a trailing vehicle in case you get tired or any other unforeseen event. We biked to a temple, the rice fields, had a break by some very picturesque terraces, then were given the choice of a traditional Balinese House or a coffee plantation. At the end we were treated to dinner. The guides were super friendly and helpful. We had a great time 10 out of 10 would do again.
Great half day tour!

We thoroughly enjoyed the e-bike tour. I did not realize we would be riding on actual roads with cars, but that provided a glimpse of what it is like to commute as a local. Gusti and Gina was our guides. My wife has not ridden a bike in a long time, so it took some time before she got used to it again. Our first stop was a temple. Learned about how the older Balinese deal with death and how they celebrate life at the temple. Visiting the rice paddies and seeing the locals farm. Riding to a local swing was a highlight for my wife. Learning about the culture and values through our guide was very insightful. Our last stop was a coffee farm where we sampled Luwak and various teas. All were good. Our final stop was a local restaurant which we ate a good lunch, saw a traditional house. All in all, we loved our tour and would recommend it to anyone looking to explore where cars cannot. Thank you.
Best part of our stay in Ubud - ideal for families with tweens/teens

On one of our first days in Ubud we went on the eBike tour. Our guide was wonderful, very knowledgeable and excellent English. it was nice to escape the very busy streets of Ubud and cycle around the outskirts. We felt very safe - even our just turned 12 year old who is a nervous bike rider - as the guides took us on quieter roads. The rice fields were majestic and the highlight of the tour. Beautiful and great for photos. Very easy to operate the bikes. eBikes were a must with the humidity and heat and terrain. Don't hesitate - book now!
Go where cars can't!

My tour guide was great! He made sure to provide explanation for the things we were seeing: rice being produced, offerings being brought to the temple, and a typical family compound. Also, I felt safe with him and appreciated the planned breaks.
Best way to experience the beauty of Ubud

This was a memorable tour for our family. Our guide was happy to share this beautiful part of Ubud with us and his commentary was extremely informative. Would definitely recommend this tour. Thank you for a great morning we thoroughly enjoyed it and has been the highlight of our trip to Bali.
Fantastic tour and loved the e-bike experience!

Everything was perfect for our e bike tour! We were picked up on time, and taken to the starting point for a brief bike intro. We then rode for about 15 mins (using mostly the electric) to a village temple and were told about the local belief system. We then rode through the rice paddies which was a little bit of a challenge but the tour guides were great to assist. We then visited a little cafe at Tegalalang Rice Terraces and after that visited a local house. Once we returned the bikes we were treated to a yummy Indonesian lunch at a small Warung. Overall a wonderful morning in the more quiet parts of Ubud.
Brilliant, even for a non-cyclist!

Fantastic tour, so informative and easy. The ebikes are very powerful (especially for anyone who has ridden a legal UK ebike) but it make the hills a pleasure in the heat of Ubud. I ride a lot at home but my partner doesn't and she loved it! An extremely well organised and hosted event, with stops where needed and guidance too - the meal at local warung was tasty, and an added bonus.
Wonderful tour, helpful guides, beautiful landscape
Meta_M, Oct 2023
Wonderful bike tour. We were transferred from our hotel to the office, in the northern part of Ubud. We received an explanation about how the bikes worked, and then we departed. There were 4 of us with 2 tour guides. They rode at the front and at the back of us. At our first stop I fell because I accidentely touched the electric motor button and the bike ran away while I was stepping off. The guides had first aid things with them, and nothing was broken, so I could go on. Part of the tour was very scary (very small bike/walk road high between rice fields), but most of us could walk that part with the bike at our hands. It was a very nice landscape. The dinner was very pleasant and nice, and we had a wonderful afternoon.
Even in the rain this is a fantastic tour

Cycling through paddy fields, visiting a village temple and hearing all about the different funeral customs
Cycle tour

The best part of this cycle tour was the bike was electric, big positive to get up some of the inclines and visiting the Cafe with the amazing views of the rice Terraces.
Pretty good
Cameron_B, Jul 2023
Learning the history behind the rice terrace. Did think we were going to go up into the more famous of the ones we visited but we just saw it from a across the gorge. Was still fun though
Best way from Ubud to view rice terraces!
James_S, Jul 2023
Biking thru rice fields, stop at rice terraces, visit to home and chill downhill back to start. Evening light was beautiful and our guide was great- previewed route before each stretch, watched over us on road and paths and was a wonderful cultural ambassador, helping us to understand Bali .
A ride to remember

Awesome tour, the best way to see the Bali rice fields and learn about their culture and traditions. Our tour guides Katut and Kormah were so helpful and professional. A must do tour
Easy, fun, great views

A must when in Ubud! I am a solo traveler and these guys were awesome. There were 8 people booked at our time slot so they divided us into two groups. Each group had a guide and a photographer. The bikes were easy to use - electric if you wanted, but could ride as normal, if wanted. We rode along streets, through rice fields, and stopped at UNESCO Tegalalang Rice Terrace, and then had a choice of going to a coffee plantation or a traditional family compound. Our group chose coffee and had a tasting of several kinds. We then got back to the shop and they drove us to a resturant down the road for a great meal. Fun way to see bali! Oh - and as we finished dinner, we got an email from eBikes with photos of us riding. So great!
We had a great experience...
tracy_s, Jul 2023
We had a great experience as a family. Or guide was wonderful and full of information. If there was one negative it would be that there was quite a bit of cycling on the busy roads.
Wonderful cycle tour, the best of the tours we did!!
Michelle_R, Jul 2023
We were collected by such a lovely friendly young man and taken to where we collected our bikes. We were shown how the bikes work and had a little test run before heading out. It was a little nervy for a little way in some light traffic and then wonder in quiter roads. We had the most amazing tour guide, sooo knowledgeable and an assistant/photographer also just as willing and eager to share knwolegde and help us. It was a lovely tour and I would strongly recommend it.
Awesome!
Vishal_P, Jul 2023
Great guides and experience. Great way to experience the beauty of Ubud and the rice fields. There’s a few stops where guides give a brief cultural history. They stop at the Tegalalong Rice Terrace with a swing so if you do this you may not need to do a separate visit.
Great guides sharing their passion for their home!
Kristin_J, Jul 2023
Best morning of whole trip! The guides are so welcoming, we really got in to the rice paddies and learned how families share irrigation, loved learning about town ceremonies at local temple, getting a swing opportunity overlooking incredible rice terraces was stunning, and my group chose the coffee plantation with the most incredible coffee/tea tasting. I loved my lunch they provided at a cute local restaurant after too. 10 out of 10! E-bikes on the streets was an adventure itself too- guides help with traffic intersections. I liked that they split the big group in to smaller groups. I felt supported along the way.
