A privilege - despite the weather

We thoroughly enjoyed our morning with Manuel. His passion, depth of knowledge and gift of communication brought so much to life out of the stones of the Palladian architecture he showed us so lovingly. He is an expert story teller, building solidly from the ground up and then spinning fascinating connections into a woven fabric that envelops you with appreciation for not only the genius of Andrea Palladio, his inspiration and significant ongoing influence, but also of all of humanity as it evolves. Practical concerns about using e bikes for the first time were taken care of and the stories took over (most of the time!). Thoughtful and sensitive to our needs and pace, he even gave up his own jacket for one of us as it was a cold, damp day. We would have gone back for another tour had the weather been kinder and our itinerary allowed. As it is, it was a privilege to see Vicenza this way - never to be forgotten.

Architecture is language

This e-bike tour was a highlight of our trip. Manuel is an outstanding tour guide and he shared his love for Vicenza through the story of its history as we rode along with well spaced stops. As he said “architecture is language” and before our eyes we saw the story of Palladio come to life. The e-bikes were state of the art and easy to use. I highly recommend this tour.

Tour of Vicenza e-bike

This is an amazing tour. Guide was wonderful and very informative about the history of the city. Manuel, our guide, loves his job. The bikes are easy to ride even if you have never ridden a e-bike and guide explained the operation of bike very well. I would take this tour again.

Our tour today was fantastic. Our tour guide Manuel was extremely knowledgeable and clearly loved what he does! We saw parts of Vicenza and learned things that we would never have learned on our own. The bikes are easy to ride even though I had never ridden an e-bike before.

Palladian Routes delivered an exceptional tour. We got to see all the Palladian highlights with a knowledgeable and engaging guide, Manuel. This compact 2.5 hour worked well with our limited schedule and provided us with an informed overview of the major Palladian sites to visited more thoroughly on our own. Highly recommend this tour. Excellent value and great people. Also, the bikes worked great.
