A tour guide was great!! Very knowledgeable. He was funny. Took lots of photos for us. There was an issue when we got to the Museum but our guy quickly got it handled.

Dr. Koura Gibson was an excellent wealth of information. Our group was small, just 5 of us total and I loved every minute of it. I will be recommending this tour to everyone I know who wants to visit DC. The tour began in front of the White House and made a circle around it where she expounded on architectural details and history in DC. The tour ends in front of the museum but she provided us with great feedback on how to get the most out of the museum experience. Thanks Dr. Gibson!!!

Nuor was a terrific guide -very knowledgeable, personable and entertaining. He kept my 22 and 23 year old sons engaged and they said it was the best and they learned a lot. He offered personal experience and insight with the AA Museum highlights. Definitely recommend this and a great way to gain the hard to get tickets to the museum

Learned more about African-american history in an hour than all of high school. Our guide was knowledgable and down-to-earth at the same time. I enjoyed the time greatly and it also engaged my 11 year-old son.

Dr. Cora was an amazing tour guide! I enjoyed every single second of the walking tour and in spite of the light rain, Dr. Cora remained positive, upbeat, and maintained that energy throughout the experience. Her knowledge of DC is exceptional and I really appreciate how she tied the outside world to some of the landmarks we routinely pass by in DC. The museum was (of course) nothing short of exceptional. It’s massive so don’t expect to make it through in 2 hours. It’s just not going to happen.

Highly recommend for those who would like to see all the highlights of DC in a day. Tour guide Dion was amazing. Very knowledgeable and passionate about the history of this nation. I will say you will walk a lot but you see so much so it’s worth it.
High cost for a 60 minute walk to a Museum.

We met with our tour guide at Lafayette Park. My husband and I were the only people participating which made it a little more personal. Nur was very knowledgeable and told us about our surroundings as we walked. We went past the White House and proceeded to the African American Museum. Our walk took one hour and Nur left us with our admission tickets for the Museum. I felt the cost was very high for this, as it only lasted an hour and the tickets to the Museum were free. I would not recommend this tour.

Weather was biting cold so it made the trip a little difficult. It would have been awesome if our guide could have found us some corners to get out of the wind, talked through what we were about to see and then walked to the site. Still, it was great way to get a feel for the city.

We were late but our tour guide Nur was able to find us so that we were able to continue the remainder of the tour and get out museum tickets. Could tell he was very knowledgeable of the area !
