My family and I really enjoyed this food tour. It is one of the best ones we’ve been on so far. The food was excellent and filling. We enjoyed all of the restaurants we visited. Our tour guide Wayne was engaging and kept us entertained with lots of historical facts, stories and anecdotes about the Georgetown area.

History combined with the food and walking, our guide was very knowledgeable and enjoyed doing his tours.
Birth of a new tradition!

This was our first food tour, and now we’ll definitely be looking for these everywhere we travel. This was such a fun way to experience Georgetown! Robert was an excellent guide—he knows the history so well and shared some unique stories I wouldn’t have heard otherwise. Both my husband and I ate foods outside of our comfort zone and were surprised to love all of it! Meeting with other travelers was also a nice break from a week of couple time. I have trouble walking and was able to navigate the tour just fine too. The small group varied in age from teenagers to senior citizens. My husband is an anxious traveler and even he loved it! Pro tip: We did this on our last day, but were thinking to do it earlier next time so that we can go back and eat at the places we liked the most!
Something for everyone!

Robert was a great guide and we had a good group of 12 from different states/countries. Food was delish and the history lessons interesting. Robert has a very good sense of humor and you can tell he loves Georgetown and all that it offers!

Excellent food choices and dessert. 3 unique restaurants that each had own flair. Would definitely do again!
5 star tour w/ Wayne!
TANYA_D, Mar 2024
Our food tour was a well-balanced mixture of history (and much more entertaining than what you read in books), Georgetown sights & sounds (and smells lol), and tasty dishes, all thanks to our amazing tour guide Wayne. He’s been doing this for 15 years and his wealth of American history is phenomenal. This tour w/ Wayne is a must do! It certainly elevated our last night evening in DC.
Great historical tidbits and wonderful food

Robert was a wonderful guide and I loved knowing about the history of Georgetown along with sampling some terrific food.
Great way to explore a new area!
Paul_M, Feb 2024
Wayne was a GREAT guide. He knew so many interesting facts about Georgetown and the people who have lived in the area. We stayed to the very end of tour even though it was raining to hear about a tobacco store house of all things.. All three restaurants were a hit. My wife and I even went back to one of the spots after the tour was completed. We will DEFINITELY be bringing out of town guests in the future. It was a fun way to explore a new neighborhood and even meet some new people.
One of the best food tours

It was a freezing cold night but that did not sway our guide, Robert’s, enthusiasm. He was very informative about Georgetown and we learned much about the Georgetown area. The timing at the restaurants was spot on and the food was absolutely delicious and abundant. We would do this tour again.
Food and History
Trudy_H, Jan 2024
Robert was the most knowledgeable guide who incorporated in this tour his love of food and shared his knowledge of Georgetown. We were taken to 4 different restaurants where the food became better and better. The food was very tasty and it satisfied everyone’s taste. I recommend this tour if you are visiting the DC area.

Genuine Georgetown
Ashley_R, Jan 2024
My husband and I did this as part of our anniversary celebration and it was amazing. Loved learning about the area’s history and tasting delicious food along the way. Robert was excellent and very knowledgeable. His relationships with the restaurants were genuine and it was a delight being able to walk straight in and sit down to a warm meal.
