Overview

Washington DC’s historic center spans a large area and can be difficult to see on foot. This electric bike tour allows you to cover more ground and cycle past highlights such as the Smithsonian museums, the Capitol Building, the White House, and Tidal Basin. Tours begin on time, your tour check-in time is important. You must check-in 15 minutes prior to tour departure time. We can not guarantee we can accommodate late customers.
Tour may be canceled if the weather makes for dangerous riding conditions
Please note that due to security at our location, we are unable to hold luggage while you are on tour.
Trailers and tag-a-longs cannot be attached to eBikes for safety
This tour/activity will have a maximum of 15 travelers

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

My daughter and I were fortunate to be the only two on a e-bike tour with our wonderful guide, Maryann. She was extremely patient, knowledgeable and accomodating, allowing me lots of time to take photographs of the many interesting sights along the route. It was a very well spent 4.5 hours and we are extremely grateful to Maryann for a fantastic time! This is a tour not to be missed.

Sabrina was superb! I learned a ton about the many places around the mall. My bike was terrific, and I'm still in awe of my day in Washington, DC. I had no points of reference other than what I had seen on TV. Our Capital and government looked completely different than I had envisioned. It was better. I highly recommend taking a bike tour!

Great way to see monuments!

Really enjoyed this excursion. A great way to see all the monuments. The tour guide also gave some historical information and allowed ample time for pictures. We saw all of the main monuments but weren’t able to stop at the White House due to lack of time. The White House would have been a nice addition to this tour. It was close enough that we could’ve gone.

We had a fantastic monuments tour with Allegra and Eric yesterday. Bikes were extremely well maintained and easy to operate. Very clear instructions on where to meet. Allegra was an awesome guide, very knowledgeable and spoke clearly. The Spring Marathon was on so we had to navigate lots of people and some road closures which Allegra took in her stride. Highly recommend this tour for a great way to see the main monuments and take in some history. Many thanks Allegra and Eric.

We had a fabulous time on this tour. Joe, our tour guide, was fabulous. He was extremely knowledgeable….full of fun facts. We went at the perfect time… early December.. hardly any tourists around……the ride was very easy on e-bikes…We highly recommend this tour. We would do this tour again👍

We had the BEST time. Our first bike tour and our guide was amazing. He provided so much information and little side notes, jokes and extra information about the surrounding areas. The 3 hrs went by so fast, we could of spent a few more hours riding around with him. This tour is so worth the time and money and we highly recommend it.

Viator and Tour Guide didn't communicate and I lost $316

Viator and Bike Tour operator didn't communicate and then I lost over $300. The bike tour is 100% refundable as long as you cancel within 24 hours. My daughter had issues with her flight therefore I pushed my bike tour reservation from a Monday to Tuesday instead. I did this through the tour operator who confirmed. I still got an email from Viator that said the reservation was still on Monday so I double confirmed by calling the tour operator again that the reservation was Tuesday not Monday and the tour operator confirmed via phone that it was scheduled for Tuesday. Sunday night my daughter's flight had issues again so I went to cancel (WELL WITHIN my 24 hour time frame). The link wouldn't let me cancel because it said my tour was still on Monday so I emailed the tour operator cancelling (within the 24 hours). I also then called again both the tour operator and Viator the following morning to confirm they received the cancellation (this is still a day before the Tuesday tour when I called Monday morning). I also sent Viator proof of my correspondance cancelling within the 24 hour time frame. I got charged. I tried to get them to refund by discussing what happened and they wouldn't. So I am out the full $316. I had been a repeat Viator customer in various cities - you would think they would consider future bookings from me but they don't care. And now I a will never use them again.

Good Tour, bike needed service

The guide was great! My e-bike definitely needed servicing. The front sprocket was loose so it wobbled and scraped. Other than that it was a good tour.

Unlimited Biking Unorganized

Our guide, Joe, was great! However, the company that ran this tour was Unlimited Biking and they were very unorganized. In addition, they mixed riders on electric bikes with standard bikes so those of us who paid extra for electric bikes had to ride slow and constantly stop while other riders caught up.

We are locals but thought it would be fun to do a tour of the city we already know and love. It was awesome! I am now recommending to my friends and neighbors. I learned a bunch I didn't know and discovered some new gems. Our guide James was outstanding. He was energetic, knowledgable, engaging, and did a great job keeping the group together and safe. I’m now a big fan of ebikes. For tourists who want to get an overview of the dc government and monuments I cant imagine a more efficient and enjoyable approach. Thanks again James!

Great guided tour of the main Washington sights. Wally, our tour guide, was very friendly and knowledgable. It was flat enough to not need the electric bike, but it was fun to be able to whizz off with no effort.

Awesome electric bike trip to all the DC monuments. The weather was beautiful and the group size of 15 was perfect. Wally was an excellent, very informative guide. We would definitely recommend doing this Washington DC tour.
