New in 2023!
Come celebrate the Summer Solstice in Alaska with a paddle under the midnight sun. This special tour is offered for one week only during the Summer Solstice! This event tour takes place on the Kink River.
This glacier-formed valley is full of wildlife, such as moose, bears, eagles, and salmon just to name a few. Though we can not guarantee you will see wildlife on your tour, we can guarantee that you will get to experience being out in nature. This tour starts and ends at the Glenn Highway Knik River Bridge, by Reflection’s Lake. The Knik River is glacier-fed so no jumping in unless you want a very cold bath. The river has a strong but slow-moving current, making it a perfect lazy river float. Depending on tides and wind you may need to paddle at the very end of the Knik River but for the most part, this is a very relaxing float. As we float, look for animals, admire the grandeur of the Chugach mountains, and observe the many braids of the river.
