The basics

Kom Ombo Temple is often combined with the Temple of Horus at Edfu, another riverside masterpiece, since both sites are located north of Aswan. Kom Ombo Temple is also a popular stop on Nile River cruises, which dock a short walk away from the archaeological site. In addition to visiting Kom Ombo Temple itself, it’s worth setting aside some time to explore the onsite Crocodile Museum.
