A beautiful complex with so much history…definitely worth a visit!
So glad we purchased tickets ahead of time…and although our tickets were for 3pm, we arrived earlier than expected and were allowed entry.
Yes, you could buy at door, but we were guaranteed entry as during busier periods, this may not be the case.
The self guided tour at San Pau is well worth it. All the exhibits are well translated into English and it is very easy to navigate around with the map provided upon entry. The architecture is exquisite and the stories of the hospital are very interesting. Highly recommended.
everything went smoothly. I just had to show my phone to the front desk and they wrote down my ticket number!! The experience was amazing and would definitely recommend. saw old hospital equipment and the beautiful buildings are a must see!!
Love all the beautiful mosaics and the intricate, colorful tile roofs. The gardens and landscaping were superb. It was not crowded and you could take your time to see/read everything.
Fantastic architecture, great concept for hospital care, the tunnels were impressive, very forward thinking health care facility. Easily accessible, no lines, audio guide was great. Highly recommend.
Good. Same price as booking directly on Sant Pau Recinte Modernista website. With more flexibility to change or cancel.
No audio guide provided. Pay EUR4 at entrance. Worth to pay for audio guide.
The architecture was fabulous. The story of the concept and progression of the construction was intriguing. We rented the narration devices for €4 each. That was money well spent.
We would definitely recommend the self guided tour.
The original hospital with multiple buildings of amazing architecture. Beautiful mosaics and tiled underground passageways which were used to move patients from one building to another. I’d recommend utilising the audio tour and allowing over an hour.
Hop on hop off bus Green line stop 12 is right outside.
There wasn't much of a line to skip, truth be told, though it was a Monday afternoon.
The signposting of the visit was a little hit-and-miss, though that does seem to be a general observation about Spanish facilities.
Hospital itself was fine, though access to lifts seems a bit grudging (I have bad knees, so stairs are not my friend).
