St. Mark’s Anglican Church was established in 1881, but is part of a 15th-century palace first owned by the Medici family and later by Machiavelli. The center of Florence’s Anglican community, the church has Renaissance Revival interiors decorated in pre-Raphaelite style and is often used as a venue for concerts and performances.
