Minh Mang Tomb is an important historical site, and it attracts a lot of visitors. Try to visit in the early morning before crowds arrive and the daytime heat reaches its peak. During rainy season, which spans from October through December, don’t forget your umbrella.
Minh Mang was the second ruler of the Nguyen Dynasty and governed south and central Vietnam from 1820 to 1840. The emperor commissioned his own tomb to have 40 structures, which were completed before his death, but unfortunately 20 were destroyed beyond repair during the Vietnam War.
