The island is only accessible by boat. The easiest way to visit Poda Island is on a day trip from Krabi. Island-hopping tours, which typically use either time-saving speedboat or traditional longboat, usually also visit the caves of Phra Nang Beach, Railay Beach, Tup Island (Koh Tup), and Chicken Island, so-called because of its rocky resemblance to the bird.
Thanks to a remote location, Poda Island (Koh Poda) provides a tranquil escape from the crowded beaches of Krabi.
