Great welcoming experience
It was a nice couple of hours our guide told us some interesting things about London as we drove to china town- It was nice to be able to ask questions and be one on one - she was very knowledgeable about the area- my daughter and I would request her to bill our guide again

Great for families with teens!
Surprised by an extra two days in England before my husband arrived, my 13-year-old son and I took a chance on a new Viator offering – a three hour private walking tour of Chinatown offered by City Unscripted - London’s Chinatown Food Experience. Our guide Tom W., a UK/US dual citizen, was amazing! He took our special requests and circumstances communicated prior to the tour to heart, including our request to meet at the end point of our early morning Harry Potter-themed walking tour and to eat immediately as my son would likely be super hangry. Tom also did something none of the three other tour guides we worked with during this trip accomplished – he ENGAGED my teenage son for three hours after we had participated in a disappointingly lackluster 2.5-hour Harry Potter-themed tour. While I might have preferred dim sum to the buffet and a trip to a grocery store, I understood why Tom made his choices and Tom was absolutely my son (and my) favorite tour guide of our entire UK & IT trip. I cannot stress how important it was that Tom asked my son direct questions and modified his approach and presentation based on my son’s answers and interests, giving us a tour that included but went beyond Chinatown. Bottom line, while the tour may be in its growing stages, Tom is an amazing tour guide for the very challenging demographic of families with teenagers!
