Harry P. Leu Gardens have been an Orlando destination since being donated the city by the Leus in 1961. Visit to enjoy its many plant species, including palms, azaleas, and camellias. In addition to its specialized garden areas, you can also tour several buildings on the National Historic Register. The Harry P. Leu Gardens are easy to visit independently, and they offer a break from busy parks.
Alcohol, pets, bicycles, and picnics are not allowed on site.
The Leu House Museum, a historic highlight of the gardens, is closed due to damage sustained during Hurricane Irma.

The Harry P. Leu Gardens are located in the Rowena Gardens neighborhood. The gardens are served by the SunRail (Advent Health stop) and bus No. 125. If traveling by car, you can access the gardens via Interstate 4.
The Harry P. Leu Gardens are open daily from morning until early evening and closed on Christmas Day; last admission is 30 minutes before close. Free admission is offered on select days throughout the year; mothers receive complimentary entry on Mother’s Day, and fathers on Father’s Day.
It's easy to plan a museum-focused day out in Orlando. A number of arts-focused highlights are located a quick trip from the gardens, including the Mennello Museum of American Art, which houses a collection of works by folk artist Earl Cunningham, and the hands-on Orlando Science Center, which includes exhibit halls, labs, workshops, theaters, an observatory, and experiences spread across four floors.
