Oxford bike tour to Blenheim Palace includes tickets, lunch & tea
We Ride approximately 8 miles along the canal towpath and bike paths out of the city to Woodstock.
Today’s highlight is a visit to Blenheim Palace. This spectacular stately home was the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill. You will have approximately 3 hours available to you to tour the house, gardens and magnificent parklands. The guide will provide a picnic lunch. We then visit Churchill's resting place in Bladon.
We ride for approximately 10 miles on small country lanes through the villages of Cassington and Yarnton before rejoining the Oxford canal path to Port Meadow. There we ride along the banks of the Thames into the city.
In Oxford we can spend around 1½ hours touring the historical centre of Oxford seeing Radcliffe Square, The Bridge of Sighs, Sheldonian Theatre, Bodleian Library and Broad Street.
We stop outside the Natural History Museum for our tea and cake break before visiting St John's College and Martyrs Memorial.
The tour ends with a 5 minute ride back to Jericho
