You will be welcome in an early 19th century farmhouse in Pieve Pagliaccia, between Perugia and Assisi, where our company, the Brugnoni simple agricultural company, is based, where our family has lived and worked with passion and love for the territory for almost 100 years. We carry on various cultures typical of the area, including the vine. We will guide you through our vineyards and then through the rooms of our cellar, telling you our story and illustrating all the phases of wine production, from the vineyard to the bottle. Today we'll visit Perugia, the capital of Umbria. It is worth visiting not only for the beauty of its hilltop setting, but also for its fine old buildings. Before it came under Roman rule, ancient Perusia was one of the 12 cities of the Etruscan federation and considerable sections of the Etruscan walls, which extended for 2,800 meters around the town, have been preserved.
