Mesmerizing experience
The most incredible experience i’ve had in Uruguay. Doubtless, I want to come back to watch that amazing sunset and hear the Ceremonia del Sol once again. Everyone should go there at least one time in this lifetime.

When to Get There

The Casapueblo museum is open daily from midmorning until sunset. By far the most popular time to visit Casapueblo is at sunset, when crowds gather on the terrace for the Ceremony of the Sun. Minutes before sunset, listen to a recording of the artist's voice reading a Spanish poem to bid the sun farewell. The terrace can get crowded, especially in peak season, so arrive at least an hour before sunset to secure your spot.
