The Punta del Este Splash Aqua Park is an inflatable obstacle course, complete with climbing towers, catapults, trampolines, and slides. Once you’ve tackled the obstacles (again and again) and got your adrenaline pumping, head back to the beach to swim, sunbathe, or enjoy water sports like kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, and jet-skiing.

Lifejackets must be worn at the park, and there are lifeguard patrols, but the park isn’t suitable for less-confident swimmers or children under 6 years old.
Punta del Este Splash Aqua Park is located at Mansa Beach, one of Punta del Este’s main urban beaches situated along the Río de la Plata. It’s about a 15-minute walk to the beach from the peninsula, but the aqua park is located at Parada 11, about 1 mile (2 kilometers) north, so hop in a taxi or take one of the many buses that run along the beachside.
Splash Aqua Park is open from mid-December through early March from mid-morning to evening. It can get busy, so arrive early or late in the day to avoid the crowds.
Punta del Este isn’t nicknamed the “French Riviera of South America” for nothing—this is where you’ll find Uruguay’s most beautiful beaches. Playa Mansa, along the Río de la Plata, and Playa Brava, along the Atlantic Coast and home to the famous La Mano (The Hand) sculpture, are the city’s most popular beaches. Further east, the beach towns of La Barra and José Ignacio are fringed by white-sand beaches, and popular choices include the party hub of Bikini Beach and the surf beach of Playa del Faro.
