Quito City Museum is situated on García Moreno Street in the heart of the city’s historic center and just a 5-minute walk from Plaza Grande. As such, most visitors find it easiest to arrive on foot. For those arriving by private vehicle, there are nearby parking lots which charge by the hour.
Quito City Museum is typically open from Tuesday to Sunday between 9am and 5pm. Last admission is always an hour before close. Various tours run daily but you must reserve your spot at least 48 hours in advance by contacting the museum directly.
