Peaceful and uncrowded, this small active monastery is the antithesis of neighboring Peles Castle, which is usually thronged with visitors. Monks have been living here since the 17th century and the site features two churches—one dating back to 1695 and the other to 1846—with frescos and floral carvings, as well as a small museum.

Great guide and excellent value!
Bogdan was a fantastic guide. We went on a Monday so Pelés Castle was closed, which we knew in advance, but we still felt like we got a fantastic bargain for our money. We had lots of time to take photos and never felt rushed. Bogdan was very knowledgeable and friendly. We even got a bonus photo stop at Cantacuzino which was nice. Highly recommend this tour!

Beautiful and Informative Castle Tours
Prompt pick up and drop off times. The castles were beautiful. The tour was very well organized. Very responsive host and Easy to communicate with. The guide was very knowledgeable and kind. Not only about the castles but about the towns and the Braşov area. We were the first group to arrive at Peleş castle so we really got to take it in without the crowds. Perfect amount of time in each location.
