Visitors walking along the well-preserved, 800-year-old, defensive parapet, 50 feet (15 meters) above ground, can admire both the original architecture and the views across the surrounding countryside toward the Euganean Hills, the Berici Hills, Mt. Grappa, and the Alpine foothills with the walled towns of Marostica and Asolo. The visitors’ route is around a mile (almost 2 kilometers) long and includes historic halls, museums, and towers—including the Siege Museum, the Captain’s House, the Museum of Medieval Armor, and the Civic Archaeological Museum—access to which is included with entry tickets.
