The best Gran Canaria museums

Gran Canaria might be better known for its beaches and natural wonders than for its cultural attractions, but there are still a few museums that make the cut. Dive into the history of the Canary Islands at the Museo Canario, browse contemporary art at the Atlantic Center for Modern Art (CAAM), or get to know the Canarian culture at the Casa de Colón, housed in a beautiful 15th-century colonial building.
