When to get there

The museum is open from mid-morning to late afternoon Saturday through Thursday and closes on public holidays, Fridays, and the second Saturday of each month. Generally speaking, it’s best to avoid Hyderabad during summer, which is punishingly hot and dry, and the Indian monsoon season, from June to September. To make the most of your trip, visit during winter, from late October to February, when the weather is cooler.
