Hi
I would like to clarify that petrol is not included in the price of the boat.
When you leave in the morning there is a full tank of petrol, at the end of the day you can fill up again at the petrol station located in the port of Amalfi, and you pay exactly the real consumption of the petrol consumed.
Our client used the boat all day, sailed the entire Amalfi coast, and only used 34 liters of petrol, it is a very modest consumption for the navigation that was made.
Perhaps the customer has not calculated that in Italy and specifically in the petrol stations that are in the ports, the price of petrol is € 2.20 per liter.
In the United States, the price of gasoline is in gallons, it is totally different than in Italy, it is not possible to make a comparison with the price of gasoline paid in Italy.
Those who are experienced in boats know that using a boat all day and doing at least 30 or 40 miles with a boat and using 34 liters of petrol is totally normal, indeed perhaps it is below standard consumption, because we all use engines of new 4-stroke generation and consumption is not excessive.
I advise our valued customer to update himself with a Yamaha engine technician and to get the boat's cunsumed good before claiming that he was robbed from the gas station.
Best regards
Domenico
