Patty var en fantastisk hjälp med schemaläggning och förslag. Det var så skönt att ha varje hämtning och avlämning omhändertagen och inte ha några bekymmer över att ta sig från plats till plats. Vi hade underbara guider på våra utflykter och jag kommer absolut att använda det här företaget igen.

Totalt slöseri med en massa pengar, snälla håll dig borta från detta. Som Michael noterade i en annan recension bokar de helt enkelt flyg, hotell och skatter under ditt namn, och debiterar dig dubbelt så mycket som det faktiska priset för aktiviteten. I vårt fall var det ännu värre, eftersom de attackerade oss och sa att det var vårt fel att vi inte kände oss bekväma med att komma på ett annat flyg och vägrade att återbetala något, eftersom de tog oss till flygplatsen 60 minuter före avgång till ett överbokat flyg. Återigen, håll dig borta från detta om du letar efter en privat rundtur, boka den om du vill betala dubbelt för någon för att boka aktiviteter online åt dig, och lämna dig hängande om du har några problem på vägen.

Dear Vitor, It is indeed peculiar that despite the double booking made by "Sky Express" and the compensation offered by the airline, which you received, you chose not to travel and declined the opportunity to board the subsequent flight departing just two hours later. Your decision to cancel the trip to Mykonos and Santorini seems to be based on the fact that you would have had to depart two hours later than originally planned. While the specific personal reasons behind this decision remain unclear, it appears that you took the initiative to cancel the reservation yourself, fully aware that you would not be eligible for a refund. As for the option of a private service, it is important to understand that it caters to individuals who seek a personalized travel experience with the support of a dedicated assistant managing all their reservations. VÄRSTA utflykt jag någonsin bokat. Jag har tagit otaliga turer/utflykter via Viator och det här var den överlägset mest oprofessionella resebyrån jag någonsin stött på. Om du har begränsad tid på de grekiska öarna, vilket är den exakta målgruppen för just denna aktivitet, skulle du göra klokt i att undvika detta. Spara dig själv pengar, tid, frustration och ilska genom att söka en resebyrå som uppträder professionellt, tror på kundservice och erbjuder kvalitet istället för en bitter smak i munnen efter vad som borde vara en fantastisk resa med tanke på läget. Informationen som annonseras på Viator av detta företag är falsk reklam från själva titeln på utflykten, ner till hela tidslinjen. Så mycket av denna försvårande upplevelse kunde ha undvikits om byrån helt enkelt skulle uppdatera informationen de presenterar på Viator, eller åtminstone göra det klart att tiderna kan ändras baserat på säsongsbetonad tillgänglighet. Men de är bekväma med att presentera felaktig information, och när du väl bokar tillåter de inte avbokningar. Jag använder Viator ofta och är helt beroende av tidslinjen som presenteras i turnéinformationen. Jag tycker att det är konstigt att ALLA andra företag där ute får det rätt - förutom det här. De motsäger sig själva genom hela beskrivningen. "Transport, aktiviteter och boende ingår i resepriset. . ” Jag kan läsa, så jag såg senare att kryssningarna faktiskt inte är betalda, trots att det längst ner i beskrivningen står ”Entrébiljett gratis”, vilket är förvirrande. Oavsett vilket kan du glömma dessa extra turer. Jag frågade flera gånger om solnedgångskryssningen och ingen svarade ens. När det gäller Delos-kryssningen, på grund av säsongsbetonade färjetider som inte nämns på Viator, kom jag till Mykonos så sent att det redan var mörkt och dagen var klar. Det förekom ofta brister i kommunikationen som gjorde mig orolig vid varje överföringspunkt. När jag lämnade hotellet i Santorini, till exempel, informerades jag av hotellet om att min hämtningstid var tidigare än den i min resplan. Men du litar på att den här byrån får dessa saker utarbetade. Istället släppte min chaufför av mig och krävde betalning, och uttryckte noll vetskap om att detta var förbetalt. Varje dag av denna korta resa var full av ständiga problem. Helt oacceptabel prestation. Att den här utflykten till och med presenterar sig som en turné är ett skämt. Det är ingen turné. Allt du gör är att betala någon ett kraftigt högt pris för att ordna dina hotell/färjor/taxi, vilket är bra, förutom att de gör det så dåligt att du bara kommer att slösa bort din redan begränsade tid. Jag identifierade varje glitch för dem längs vägen och när jag presenterade alla problem, återigen, kronologiskt i slutet av resan, insinuerade svaret jag fick att jag faktiskt ljög. De förnekar eller bortser från alla problem du kan ha. Jag är mer än äcklad över deras brist på professionalism och extrema brist på kundservice. Mycket, mycket nedslående.

Dear Sasha, We are very sorry with your unfair review towards our company. First of all, you knew all along (you booked the tour on the 23rd of March and early morning on the 24ts we had send you the detailed program with the exact pick up times) and from the beginning of the tour the ferry boat time and also the pickup time from each place as upon reservation, client received a detailed program. Due to the low tourist season, we upgraded the ferry tickets to airline tickets without extra charge and also offered you a complimentary upgrade at a 4* star hotel in Mykonos. In addition, by proceeding and booking air tickets, you spent less time in transportation and had more time to spend in each island as opposed to what is mentioned in your review. Therefore we do not comprehend how an upgrade to air tickets and more time in the islands would be an issue. As stated in the itinerary, the sunset cruise is an optional activity. You had never inquired at any time about booking this excursion (please check our correspondance) and immediately proceeded to leave a review while it is clearly shown that you never asked us. Moreover, all the hotels provided breakfast but not for the arrival day as it is globally known but only the next morning after overnight. And we have been accused for that as well, altough the owner of the hotel was kind enough and offered you some breakfast. Also the fact that the room was not ready is because the check in time in each hotel is after 14.00 due to COVID restrictions and not earlier unless the room is ready but again the hotel is not obliged to offer breakfast on that day. Last but not least, in Santorini you called a taxi on your own as we have been informed by the hotel and left earlier from the hotel despite having an arranged transfer by our agency without waiting for our driver and clearly arrived earlier at the port. Furthermore you never paid the taxi as you considered that it is paid by us. How could that be? And of course you are complaining for the long waiting time at the port when clearly, it was your decision not to wait for our pre arranged transfer and leave earlier from the hotel. Finally, at the end of the trip you demanded to be transferred to the airport which is located 40 kilometres away form Athens free of charge, when it was clearly stated that the pick up & drop off location is from/ to the center of Athens. However, we waived the additional cost and offered you the transfer to the airport free of charge! We treated you with respect and professionalism as we always do with all of our customers and always were fast with our replies and communication. We strongly feel that this review is malicious & false and placed in order to harm our company. Respectfully,

Not a tour! Booking middleman service only!

Short of time and exhausted from trying to book a busy schedule in Greece, I thought I could fill the last days of our trip with a tour package to see Santorini and Mykonos. After all, for $2000 USD surely this included activities? This tour operator is literally called "Private Tours Greece" right?? No, it's just a booking service. They're using the internet for you. Even though the fine print says certain activities are "optional", it does not say "for an additional fee". Naively, what I bought was just someone to book our ferries and cabs and hotels for us, at a premium. These SeaJets ferry tickets are only about 70 euros per person per route — look online for yourself. The Delos Cruise and Cruise to Volcano are in the title of this trip, but they're not included! You have to read that fine print. When I realized the mistake, the first day's tour was already sold out. So we had to get ourselves around and try to make something of our first day, which was a disappointment on top of feeling like I wasted my money. We were at least able to book the activity for day 2, but again, anyone could have called the tour company and booked them themselves without going through this middleman and probably for less money. So fool me twice, shame on me, I guess. To make things worse, Private Tours Greece didn't communicate the pickup time for the return from the tour (the transfer to our hotel) until we had missed our pickup. Nice: we had to go find a taxi stand on a busy night and pay another 25 euros to get back. I thought I had splurged on a package tour to AVOID this kind of planning stress and last-minute problem-solving. Also, with no control over where your hotels are located, you get placed outside the prime areas of Mykonos (Little Venice area) and Santorini (Oia or Fira), meaning, you'll be spending taxi money and your precious vacation time to get back and forth to the one thing you probably wanted to do with your 1 day or night on the island. Lame. All of the ferries, hotels and transfers were wonderfully useful (well, the ferry was always late) and had friendly service. I only wish I had booked them myself, and not fallen for this "package" trick that is apparently common for first time travelers to the Greek islands. We made the best of it and nothing major went wrong, but I think I made an expensive blunder on this one.

We are really sorry that you feel this way about the tour, but I would kindly like to inform you that we did not mislead you in any way about what was included in this tour. Please note that our job as a tour agency is exactly as you described, we are responsible for making all the necessary arrangements for you and that is what we did. We booked the ferry tickets, private transfers with English speaking driver everywhere and not taxi as you say, and furthermore, although you have asked for 3* hotels in the islands we offered you free of charge an upgrade in Mykonos to a 4* one, Both hotels that you stayed were excellent beach hotels with great reviews. In case you wanted a hotel in Fira or in the town of Mykonos you should have asked for one and of course we could have arranged it for you. It was very clearly stated at the program that we send you after you booked this tour (that did not cost 2.000 USD but around 1.490) that the tours in Santorini and Mykonos were optional (and of course that means that they are not included). And the moment you asked to join the tour in Mykonos we made all the necessary arrangements for you so that to take the cruise in Delos. As far as your return from Delos to the hotel, although you were informed that you had to be there on a specific time you chose to go somewhere else and miss the bus that would return you back to your hotel, but please note that this is not our fault and we contacted you the day of the cruise about that. It is our wish to plan your tours in such a way so that to avoid Stress but we are not responsible in the case that you are not in time at the place that you should be. Finally as far as the ferry delays are concerned, I would like to inform you that due to the emerged Covid regulations there are more controls to be made before boarding and that, in a busy period like the middle of August, may lead to a small delay. But as you understand, unfortunately this is not up to us to change since it concerns the safety of the passengers. Overall, we are sorry that you feel dissatisfied with the tour but let me reassure you that we do only what our clients ask us to and since this tour is a private one we could have made any changes you wanted in case you had asked us to.

This is a nice option if you don’t have loads of time to still see the islands of Santorini and Mykonos. We were picked up promptly from our Athens hotel and taken to the port. Our driver went out of his way to make sure we were dropped off at the right ship. The boat ride was very long, but overall passed quickly. When we arrived at Santorini, we spent 15 minutes searching for our driver. We had to make several calls and text messages before someone came to find us. He didn’t seem to know anything about our travels and had us leave our luggage in a random cafe before we started our excursion. Wr waited around for a long time and then almost missed our boat because we weren’t told where to go. We had also expected to go our hotel first but received our final itinerary the morning of our experience. When we returned from our excursion, we still did not have a driver. We again had to make several text messages to find out who was picking us up. Because the excursion was so long we only had two hours in the morning to quickly look at Santorini from land. We were happy that our driver picked us up from the hotel and brought us back to the ferry. Everything in Mykonos went very well. Our drivers all showed up with our names on their papers and were very easy to find. We highly recommend the Delos excursion. The Santorini excursion was nice and we loved seeing and climbing the volcano, but with limited time we wish we would have returned sooner. The hotels were decent. We chose 3 stars. In Santorini we were upgraded to 4 stars for free. The hotel was ok but beds were terrible. The sheets were so starched they felt like plastic. The Mykonos 3 star hotel was much better and more in the heart of the city. Overall, we had a nice time. We never met anyone actually from Private Tours Greece. We had expected we would be paired up with a bigger tour with PTG but never happened. Tours were with other companies.

As you say, this tour is intented for travelers with limited time who wish to get the most out of their visit. In this 3 day private tour, you had the chance to visit probably the most cosmopolitan islands of Greece, participate in 2 cruises as well as have free time to stroll around each island. We do not quite understand your comments that you would expect to be paired up with a bigger tour since you had this time at your disposal. As far as the delay in Santorini, please have in mind that Santorini, especially this time of year, is very busy with thousands of people visiting the island, therefore you need to find the designated driver holding a sign with your name written on it. If you still have difficulty finding him, we provide you with his personal phone number so you can locate him. Moreover, the reason we arranged to leave your luggage at the affiliated coffee shop (with our own charge) is because the ferry boat arrivaed lated that scheduled and very close to the time of the cruise's departure. There was not time to transfer you to the hotel as you could have lost the cruise. At the end of the cruise in Santorini, as this was a group tour, there was a bus scheduled to transfer all the passengers and the pick up point was announced by the tour leader. Lastly, as we are a travel agency, meaning that we provide you with guaranteed services, 24/7 communication and we arrange evertyhing for you instead of you; from transfer services to accommodation and cruise tours. Thoughtful reminders were sent by the tour operator on the pick up time and location. The information package provided had the necessary details and point of contact in case of enquiry about the trip. Dimitra was really helpful to arrange a last minute day tour while I was in Mykonos.
