Athens Morning Sightseeing Tour och Half Day Cape Sounion Trip (dag 1 eller 2 - ditt val): Efter en morgonhämtning på ditt hotell i Athen eller en central mötesplats, slå dig i din luftkonditionerade tränare och börja din sightseeingtur.

Med din guide beundra Atenas historiska och moderna höjdpunkter, inklusive det livliga Omonia Square och Syntagma Square, hem till det grekiska parlamentet.

Passera Panathenaic Stadium, arenan som arrangerade de första moderna olympiska spelen 1896, och sedan njuta av en guidad vandring på UNESCO-listan Acropolis - klustret av klassiska monument på den steniga staden ovanför staden. Beundra 5: e århundradet f.Kr. Parthenon; se templet Athena Nike och Erechtheion, och lär dig mer om Akropolis och dess ruiner på Akropolis Museum.

Därefter avslutas din sightseeingtur, vilket gör att du kan koppla av och äta lunch (egen kostnad) innan du reser till Cape Sounion.

På eftermiddagen lämnar Aten en luftkonditionerad tränare och passerar de vackra stränderna i Saroniska viken när du reser till toppen av halvön Attica, där ett stenigt landskap bildar kappan. Här kan du besöka templet av Poseidon, ett semi-förstört vitt marmor tempel på clifftops. Lär dig hur templet byggdes 44BC, och hör de gamla myterna som omger det när du absorberar havsutsikten.

Din turné avslutas på ditt förbokade hotell i Aten eller vid startpunkten.

Delphi Day Trip (dag 1 eller 2 - ditt val): Styr din luftkonditionerade tränare på ditt hotell i Aten eller en central mötesplats och resa till Delphi, ett av Greklands mest kända klassiska platser.

Efter korta stopp på vägen, anländer till detta arkeologiska undrar på sluttningarna av Mt Parnassus och ta en promenad runt höjdpunkterna som din guide berättar hur webbplatsen var tillägnad guden Apollo och hem till det legendariska Delphic oracle.

Promenera runt Apollo-templet, 4: e århundradet f.Kr., där oraklet satt, se den rekonstruerade atenska statskassen och titta på Delphis stadion, där pythiska spelen - friidrottstävlingar hålls vart fjärde år - fanns från 582 f.Kr.

Därefter besöker du Delphi arkeologiska museum för att se några av de skatter som grävts på platsen; och njut av en inkluderad lunch med grekiska rätter på en lokal restaurang.

Slutligen, resa tillbaka till Aten, där din turné slutar vid startpunkten.

Jag gillade att denna turné delades upp i två delar. Det gav oss en paus på 1 timme att gå tillbaka till hotellet för att koppla av. Reseguiden var mycket kunnig i sin grekiska kultur och historia.

Akropolis var mycket trångt på grund av kryssningsfartyg. Vi trodde att vi gjorde Delphi den 12 september, och Akropolis den 13 september skulle ha varit mindre trångt och hade mer tid på plats och på museum på grund av dålig trafik. Delphi och Poseidon reseguider var mycket bra.

Great tour would definitely recommend. The city tour does not quite cover all the sights so should leave time to walk around on your own or use the hop on/off bus to make sure you see everything. The Acropolis museum was definitely worth it and the Cape Sounion Trip and Delphi Trip were both beautiful.

Very knowledgible tour guides. Delphi and Cape Sounion were really cool sights, despite the long bus ride. The bus was typical coach, but comfortable. Expect crowds and some standing around for the Acropolis tour.

It's cheaper to go to each site and pay for a tour guide. Also gives you control of your time. We had to be at the Hotel to meet at 820am but don't leave until 9am. Also Delphi day trip is 1:15min each way but your only there for 1 hr. Which is enough time to see everything but it's not worth it.

The tour guide is what made this tour. She explained everything so well and brought the history of Athens to life. You will see all the major sites of Athens on this tour, and your ticket is good for four additional days to visit all the archeological sites of Athens.

Great tour, except Cape Sounion which was a long drive for not much to see, especially compared to Delphi. The Cape Sounion tour guide was not very enthustasitc.

In the morning trip, the coach AC did not work well and was repaired when we were going around in Acropolis. The guide was excellent and very professional. I wish the tour included a few more sites, all it covered was the Acropolis, the Acropolis Museum ( which was rushed ) and a few minutes at a very modern amphitheatre . Other sights were pointed out from the bus itself. Perhaps more time should be allotted to this trip and more sights covered , including for example, the temple of Zeus. The drive to Cape Sounion was pictureseque and wonderfully scenic. As usual the bus and guide were both excellent. There is not much to see at the Cape except the temple of Poseidon which is impressive, but about an hour stay there is more than enough. Reached hotel only at 7.40 pm as I was the last to be dropped off and the traffic can be horrendous. The Delphi trip, you must remember, is a long drive taking three hours each way including a halt for coffee and toilets. Travelling up and down six hours and spending about one and half hours at the site itself makes you think if it is really worth it. The site is mostly in ruins considering its age, though one can make out the splendour of the place as it must have been those days. Remember that these sires are much older than the Roman Forum or the Colosseum in Rome and therefore nowhere near as well preserved, you must use your imagination . A few pats of the Delphi site are in slightly better condition , the museum is good but not enough time really considering the time to be spent travelling up and down. The three course lunch is excellent value , worth paying for in advance. Do remember that you are taken straight to the lunch hotel and there are no other options where you can eat, so you must either have the fixed menu or the a la carte at the hotel itself

I would definitely do this tour again!! I'm so glad my husband found this website. Great deals, friendly staff, can't beat that! The staff was really knowledgeable about Greece and there surroundings. If you had a question, they knew the answer to it. I will definitely be using Viator again to book sightseeing tours and other tours!

Katvah was a wonderful guide on part of this tour. This two day experience was a great choice for us. The guides should always use a portable mike so all can hear. Not a problem on the bus. The antquities at Delphi and Poseidn were amazing. Highly recommend this choice of the City tour and then Poseidon' temple
