Great views but a high cost

The tour guide Ray was very friendly and had a good energy especially for being so early in the morning. As I did not rent a car this was really the only way I could have been at the lakes before sunrise, I would recommend for this reason and if you don’t want to be turned away in case there is no parking spaces left. The only negative is that I felt it was a very pricey trip for what was involved. I am not sure of the cost of parking at the lakes, however transport and a cup of tea or coffee was what was included in the trip yet it still cost €204. Of course it’s worth going to the lakes but I suppose you could rent a car for the day for the same price or cheaper.

An early start, but SO worth it. Sunrise at Moraine Lake is serene, surreal and beautiful beyond imagining. The whole day was a great trip. Tess, the guide with Radventures was knowledgeable and fun, and gave us opportunity to sleep on the bus on the way to and from Banff. Lake Louise was also lovely.

Jaw dropping views of two lakes. Perfect amount of time. If you are just arriving in banff this is a great way to get your bearings early on in your visit. And ebullient Ray was an amazing host/guide! Thank you!!

Very expensive taxi ride, not a tour!

Very disappointing! This should be called a shuttle service to and from the lakes. The guide Ryle didn’t share any knowledge about anything. My family and I have been on so many guided tours and this is by far was the worst. We were expecting to learn and be educated along the way, during and back but not a word from the guide.

We enjoyed the sunrise and a short hike at Lake Moraine, some breakfast in Banff, and then a beautiful couple of hours at Lake Louise with a picturesque hike along the coast to a "beach" area. Overall it was amazing and worth the trip! Tess hiked up some coffee and hot chocolate for our sunrise, which was great on the chilly morning. We did have clouds interfere with the actual sunrise, but we could see all of the peaks and watching the light come in was still amazing. Tess is a great tour guide! She not only took care of everything and kept us on schedule, but also provided a ton of info about Boss and Split-Lip, two of the famous grizzlies in the area. Overall, highly recommend!

Postcard bucket list places to visit once in your lifetime.

Lake Moraine & Bow Falls hiking trail. Canoeing in Emerald Lake & Lake Louise. Vermilion Lakes was surreal & enchanting. Banff took my breath away.

Earlybird Tour well worth it

This tour is highly recommended! The early start time is well worth getting into the park to witness the sunrise amongst much smaller crowds. By the time we were done, the masses started to arrive, BONUS we got to see a male moose run across the road on our way out of the park.

The view at Moraine Lake. The only criticism that I have is the quality and presentation of the hot beverages in the morning. I thought that we might have them available prior to hiking up to the lookout spot, but instead I had to ask about them after returning to the van. An urn or thermos of hot coffee and hot chocolate with adequate paper cups (like in a coffee shop) would have been nice. Instead the poor tour guide had to make individual cups out of instant coffee and chocolate and hot water.

Our guide was Tess. She was phenomenal. The bus was on time and warm for us. I loved the personal experience. She made sure to bring hot chocolate and take pictures for us. She also recommended hikes/walks/views. She was amazing!

well, worth getting up early in the morning for this beautiful adventure! Our bus, driver and guide was very friendly, personable, helpful, and informative. The van itself was comfortable, and the ride was enjoyable. Spectacular experience seeing the sunrise over this gorgeous, setting, and being able to capture it in our memory, and in photographs! It was also really great to combine the sunrise experience with a visit to Lake Louise. The settings are beyond your imagination in terms of natural beauty. Thank you for one of the greatest highlights of our trip to Canada.

Beautiful sunrise tour! Our guide Kayla was very sweet and knowledgeable. There was a bit of a steep climb up rock steps to get up to the best sunrise viewing spot but you would not have to go up if you didn't want to. We had ample time for sightseeing and picture taking. The views are breathtakingly beautiful. I would highly recommend this tour.

Rae the operator was fun and knowledgeable. Lake Moraine early access was perfect for sunrise, no crowds, and mirror-like pictures, and Lake Louise access was exactly before the crowds. The stop at Lake Louise village was needed in between.

It was AMAZING! Well worth money and time. Even though sunrise was slightly cloudy at Moraine, the views did not disappoint. Added bonus… our tour guide Gio was superb!. Not only did he take great photos of us, he was a wealth of knowledge.

We enjoyed the trip very much. Wear pants and jacket/sweatshirt for Moraine lake sunrise. Guide was very knowledgeable about local wildlife. Overall great trip. Just wish we brought more clothes for first part.

Overall the pictures I took were the best out of my entire trip. However. I expected to see the sunrise where the sun hit the water of one of the lakes. Definitely could have stayed a little longer at Morraine Lake to see it. Guide was nice to do our own thing at Lake Louise so the viewpoint was a strenuous but well worth it hike to the top.

Once in a lifetime experience to to view the best of beautiful lakes that Mother Nature can offer. Serene mountainous terrain with amazing views in the presence of heart warming local population made our visit even more memorable.

Even though I was at both lakes the day before I did this tour, i can definitely say that this early bird one is a must do! The appearance of the lake is different at different times of the day but the calm waters, the light and the reflection during the sunrise is a whole different experience! It is really a must to do. As far as the tour, Raventure did great! We left on time, hot drinks were offered and the tour guide gave stories and info about the wildlife like the bears in the park and other fun facts. I will surely book another tour with them when I go back to Banff! Viator site was easy to use. I had no issues and everything went smoothly and satisfactory!
