This was amazing. The guides were great, and the experience was a lot of fun. I highly recommend adding the lunch and dip in the water. The views are incredible.

First time doing the zip and dip, and we had a fantastic time! John, Rusty, and Skippy were excellent guides as we ziplined over gorgeous waterfalls! After we finished ziplining, they took us down to a private oasis along the river where we got to swim and paddleboard by one of the many waterfalls! 10/10 recommend!

Our guides were the best! Kip, Hunter and that other "K" fellow were a lot of fun and checked on everyone often two ensure we were all having a good time. The lines were AWESOME!!!! The views fantastic, length and height of the lines just right! We had a great time and were sufficiently worn out at the end. The swim portion was most welcome, as it was a sunny and warm day. Our 2 young men at the waterfall pool were excellent at making sure we had all we needed. Dang that water was cold!! It was very relaxing after the zip tour! It was the highlight for our 25th Anniversary! Thank you.

This was such a great tour. The guide were extremely safety oriented. Had a great time and would absolutely recommend this to anyone who is able. We did the Zip and Dip package and it was worth every penny. Loved seeing the big island from a different point of view. Make sure you TIP the staff as they work incredibly hard to make sure you have the best time.

My husband and I brought our 7 year old and 11 year old boys. I am the only one who had zip lined before, so no experience necessary. We all loved it! The guides were amazing with the kids and adults! They made it so fun and kept the energy up with music and jokes and made sure everyone was enjoying themselves throughout!

Amazing, amazing, amazing. When 4/4 teenagers agree that this was the highlight of their 10 day vacation on the Big Island (we did many other fun activities as well including snorkeling, whale watching, swimming with the turtles, renting SUP along the bay, and parasailing) that should tell you all you need to know. We had ages 19, 18, 16, and 15 (plus their old Mamma here), and everyone agreed this was the best day. I was actually a tiny bit surprised to hear 3 of the 4 say that the dip portion of the Zip and Dip was actually the top favorite even over the ziplines themselves. I had come so close to doing the ziplines only. SO glad I kept the dip portion on there! They told me the reason it was so much fun is that they could do all the swimming, rock jumping, SUP, and swimming through the waterfall that they wanted, all in one place, and without the restrictions of surf advisories, tide concerns, fear of sharks (lol) etc. It really was just SUCH an incredible experience ❤️

Loved the zip, hated the dip

Paying extra for the 'dip' part was completely not worth it. Everyone who was there was disappointed. The catered lunch was a dry sandwich. The lake they talk about is much smaller than expected, and is more like a little swamp.

So right to be upside down!

Excellent zip line course. For my first time I felt really comfortable with safety initiatives. They encourage you to try it upside down!

This was definitely my favorite zipline of all time. I loved all the duel lines, and the quick 1,2,3 rides all at once. So beautiful and everyone was so fun. Even helped me do a few tricks! Can't wait to go again.

Being in the water with manta rays is truly an unforgettable experience. This is only one of a few areas in the world that you can do this. We did not have to wait to see them, they were there straight away and were there throughout the experience. FANTASTIC. They were so close to us. Thank you!!

Great staff, awesome course concluding with an invigorating plunge. Tandem lines, especially #4 where I won a dinner bet, were fun and beyond! The staff worked so well together from the checkin to the farewell. Facilities were well maintained just wish we had brought a towel down to the waterfall. Everything else was provided for us. And the box lunch was actually good especially after a morning of zipping through the hills and trees. The views were wonderful although I saw most of them in reverse- never did figure out that stop spin trick. Would do this again in a minute even thinking about rebooking during this stay.

This experience really was epic. The guides (Hogg, Avery, and Koda) were fun, funny, and most importantly thorough. The setting is EXACTLY what you expect Hawaii to be - lush, temperate, and beautiful. The experience is accommodating for all shapes, sizes, and skill levels, and ages in our group ranged from roughly 7 to mid-60’s. Now, the reason I couldn’t give this review a perfect rating is because of the “ticket” pushed to me by Viator, which stated our experience began at 10am in two separate places. Our arrival time was actually supposed to be 9:15 am. While there WAS an email that stated this (admittedly my oversight), when you are juggling multiple excursions (and a single mom), you may rely on the most handy communication to plan accordingly. Because this was a trek from the Kona side, we mistimed our arrival and had to deal with the stress of whether or not we could be rebooked (which we were, thanks Umauma staff!). All is well that ends well, but I’d recommend that Viator update its electronic ticket to reflect ARRIVAL time to avoid any future mix ups. Bottom line, the experience itself is fantastic and very much recommended. If you are staying on the Kona side, the drive over is exceptionally breathtaking. Head over early (we had time when we were rebooked) and set your GPS to go see Onomea Beach while you’re there. Aloha!

Canceled due to weather/safety

We really enjoyed the start and the people were very kind, professional yet funny like most Hawaiian activities hosts we encountered. Unfortunately, due to weather and for our safety our experience was canceled after only two ziplines so we hope to be reimbursed for at least some portion since this took most of a full day just to get to the location and back from Kona where we stayed.

Awesome experience!! The views are absolutely stunning and I can't say enough good things about the staff. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, that works here was awesome. As a first timer, the guides made me feel super safe and explained everything, from how they were harnessing us up to how to go upside down while zipping. And they are funny!!! Do yourself a favor and book this one. You won't regret it.
