Beautiful experience but unfriendly guide

The experience was worth the money. Only downside was the guide that wasn't friendly at all, didn't even speak to us one word during the whole 2 hours car trip. The other cars had different guides and they seem a lot more pleasant. Keep in mind that during Ramadan month some activities will be missing from the experience.

This was an amazing day! Highly recommend! Asif was a wonderful guide who keep us laughing and entertained, with so much knowledge and 18 years experience dune bashing! The camp was beautiful and the food was delicious!!

We had a wonderful day with our driver. The driving through the sand dunes was allot of fun, our driver was great and made sure that he was respectful of our varied levels of ‘fear factor’. The entertainment at camp was great and not too many people which was great. Not overcrowded, and plenty of yummy food.

It has always been my dream to see the desert. Finally I was able to see, walk and enjoy it in different ways thanks to Desert Gate. The 4WD were impressive and tthe pilots professionals and funny. Thy are excellent drivers and guide. After some fun up and down the dunes we went to a tent campsite in the desert. Food, dancers, drinks, music, camels. The best memory is the desert during night hours, enlightened by fires, stars, magic atmosphere.

Everything was really good except that the Dune Bashing driving wildly in the dunes was way to long. It felt like forever maybe 20 minutes or more, so several of us felt sick. I saw people getting out of vehicles and throwing up. But, as said, timely pick up, nice clean car, good food, nice show and well worth the price of 60.

This is a well organised tour by an experienced operator. No doubt as they do this day in day out. There are also other operators that run the exact same tours, as we saw that there are other tents in the desert having the same set-ups. I'd say that overall the pickup/dropoff, food, entertainment, shisha, cammel ride it's basically a get on - walk 3 steps - get down thing, but fine are great. This is a must do!

Fun the drive on the sand dunes, nice the dinner night and related entertainment. A bit disappointing the camel ride, which consists in a few seconds circle ride, and the location where you can dress as a local and take pictures didnt have any staff to help you with the challenging wardrobe. I have called directly the companys office several times before the tour, but it seemed to me that the employees read a script and had no clue of what I was asking. My overall experience was pleasant, yet I would reccomend it only to someone like me who had never done anything similar before.

Best tour ever in Dubai!!! Picked up on time and what a thrill in the 4x4’s they really do take you everywhere and the sunset is beautiful. The camp itself is very well done and the food is delicious..plus a lot cooler which is much welcomed! Definitely recommend

Fantastic...... we were greeted by our driver in full dress which was so lovely after other companies collect from out hotel in company t-shirts and Jeans. very well organised, loads of photo opportunities, lots offered has a amazing afternoon into the evening. We had the safari, quad bike rides, camel rides, henna, food drink, entertainment and have wonderful memories.

If my hotel staff did not try their best in 30 minutes on continued phobe calls, we would not have the excursion. The driver who finally turned up to pick us up 90 minutes later (!) explained the admin staff gave him a wring hotel name ( similar name but without the word " airport").

We recently done the Desert Safari it was the best experience ever our tour guide Asif is awesome from the time he came to pick us up at the hotel until the time he drop us off. Kids loved him definitely loved the sand dunes it is a must when you visit Dubai.

Absolutely a wonderful experience! After the pick up by the driver/guide Arsi, I hope it was the right name we began our exciting drive in the desert, just one hour out of Dubai. It was so funny! The driver was really clear in explaining us interesting details about our tour and things about the desert. The campsite in the desert was so cosy! I really loved the shisha corner and the dinner, delicious! For an eventual future trip to Dubai I will sure book again and I obviously recommend this experience to everyone!
