Fantastisk turné i Toscana med Francesco

Min fru och jag hade en underbar tid på denna privata toskanska turné med vår chaufför Francesco. Francesco var väldigt varm och engagerande och han gjorde ett bra jobb när han körde i den bekväma minivanen. Han var kunnig om området och historien och tröttnade aldrig på att svara på mina frågor. Kyrkan i Siena var väldigt vacker och vi njöt av den stora piazzan. Lunchen på vingården var fantastisk för både maten och vinet. . . det slutade med att vi köpte vin från dem. San Gimignano var mycket intressant och charmig och utsikten över den toskanska landsbygden var fantastisk. Bilresan tillbaka till Florens var också vacker innan vi avslutade dagen på Piazza Michelangelo med en fantastisk utsikt över staden Florens. Det här var en fantastisk dag och vi uppskattade verkligen att se alla sevärdheter och njuta av vår dag med Francesco.

Det började med bra kommunikation med Gino. Väldigt snabb att svara. Gino hämtade oss inte så långt från vår lägenhet och möttes med ett leende. Han tog oss först till en utsikt med en fantastisk utsikt över Florens i bakgrunden. Därifrån började resan. Vi ställde många frågor han gav oss många svar. Och jag tror att det är det som gör det till en minnesvärd upplevelse. Fråga frågor. ! ! ! Vi hade lite förseningar på huvudvägen. Det visade sig att det var en dödsolycka och vi satt fast. Vi gjorde det bästa av det och hade ett bra samtal. När vi väl kom förbi var Gino väldigt motiverad att få oss att se så mycket vi kunde. Första stoppet var Sienna, det stora torget är definitivt en sevärdhet som lär sig lite historia och om den årliga hästkapplöpningen de har på torget. Det skulle vara något att se. Nästa stopp var San Gimignano, en annan fantastisk plats med otrolig utsikt. Gick till toppen av kullen och njöt av ett gott glas Chianti. Sist var vingården. Alla var fantastiska. Vi kände lite press på vingården eftersom vi kom dit så sent. Återigen inget fel på någon och vi förstod det. På resan hem med solnedgångens kvällssken, Gino satte upp en Andrea Bocelli-video inspelad i en Tuscan Hills Amphitheater. Ett bra sätt att avsluta dagen. Dagdrömmer, tittar ut genom fönstret på alla vingårdar och vingårdar. Wow det här är Italien.

Jag rekommenderar starkt att anlita Luigi (Gino)! Han var en utmärkt reseguide, superkunnig och snäll och tog oss till några otroliga platser. Hans skåpbil var mycket ren, rymlig och bekväm och han gjorde resan enkel och snabb. Han hade till och med wifi tillgängligt, vilket var super hjälpsamt! The tour that was an expensive taxi ride

There was no tour. The driver played a Rick Steve's video about Siena on the way there. He dropped us off at both cities and told us what time he would be back. The tour was actually just a real expensive taxi ride!

What a fantastic day! Our driver Gino prepared us for every stop and the drive was lovely. The best part for us was the stop at the winery. We had the best food and wine we’ve eat in Italy and the family was very gracious and kind. Highly recommend Gino and this excursion!

Wonderful and relaxing way to see Tuscany

Really wonderful and relaxing way to see Tuscany. Francesco was our driver and was superb! He dropped us directly in the Siena plaza and accommodated us by picking us up directly at the Siena Duomo, which my grandmother appreciated. Everything was so well-taken care of for us that it was a very easygoing day and highly recommend doing a private tour and driver over a large tour bus.

Great day exploring and wine tasting

Gino was great!! He picked us up at our hotel and his van was a very comfortable way to spend the day driving through the Chianti region. Our first stop, after over an hours drive, was Siena which was well worth going to! Beautiful city and unique in many ways. Gino told Us a lot of the history and traditions of the town (and a video)and that added to our enjoyment of exploring it. It is very hilly so prepare for some steep but short street walking. We stayed here 2 hours. Our next stop (maybe 20 minutes away) was at a private farm/winery for an enjoyable wine tasting and lunch option - both with an additional cost. The owners were very involved and informative. We tried 4 different kinds of wine all made there on the property. It was a great experience with a beautiful view! We opted out of the lunch option, because we had all grabbed inexpensive paninis in Siena just before, but the wine tasting did include a charcuterie board. Just let Gino know what you want to do at the winery and he will arrange before you arrive there. We let him know that morning. Next we went to San Gimignano and loved it! Beautiful views of the region from up there and we’ll worth it. We stayed here 1 hour. Then back to our hotel (maybe an hour drive). I am so glad we did this tour and I would definitely book with Gino again for a different adventure! He was wonderful. I wish we had more time in each town but it was the only way to do all of that in one day. Gino knows about how much time to spend in each spot but he is also very flexible if you need a bit more time, and willing to adapt. Thanks, Gino, for an awesome day that we will always remember!!
