Dear Miss Catherine,
Thank you for sharing your feedback regarding your recent experience with our tour. We would like to address your concerns regarding the weather conditions and the impact they had on your overall experience.
While we understand that unfavorable weather can be disappointing, it is important to note that as a tour operator, we have no control over the weather. Naturally, not all our tours take place "rain or shine." The safety of our customers is our top priority, and only those tours that do not pose any risks to the well-being of our guests continue in case of rain.
In the specific case you mentioned, having an umbrella (which we always provide to our guests in case of rain) would have allowed you to continue your visit to the splendid cities of Siena and San Gimignano without canceling the entire activity, denying someone perhaps their only opportunity to see these gems of Tuscany.
We understand that inclement weather can have an impact on the overall experience, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused. However, we believe it is unfair to give such a harsh judgment and a one-star review solely based on the rain. We strive to provide exceptional experiences, and while we cannot control the weather, we do our best to adapt and ensure our customers can still enjoy their tour to the fullest extent possible.
Considering the weather conditions, the dinner portion of the tour was, of course, held indoors, providing a comfortable and enjoyable setting for our guests.
We appreciate your feedback as it helps us improve our services and ensure the best possible experience for our customers. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again on one of our tours, where we trust the weather will be more favorable.
Best regards,
