We had a great day out, we went at the end of the season and still saw whales. The ocean views & skyline were beautiful and the team were friendly and helpful.

Very well organised. Left promptly. Saw lots of whales. Weird thing was they took photos of everyone individually and printed them out but then you had to buy them so I asked what happens if I don't buy it and they said they just bin them.

100%> Most incredible experience. Our captain took us to the best places and even stopped on our way back to watch a family of whales play. I had the best time EVER! I felt 15 again when we did the waves back too

Spectacular experience

From start to finish, this was a fantastic experience. The boarding procedure was orderly. Staff were all helpful and friendly. But the whales... we saw several pairs of Mum and baby humpbacks. And they did not disappoint. They played and really showed off at times. The skipper, Julian, was informative and manoeuvred well so we could see the whales for most amount of time possible. Would highly recommend this cruise. For adults and kids alike!

I do understand your policy. If I have not seen any Whales then you all give customers a second cruise free but today’s cruise was crazy?what extreme do you go to find these whales when at least 60 to 70% of people on the boat had extreme sickness including old people and children? I’m a fisherman so didn’t effect me but when you were starting to run out of seasick bags maybe you should head back. The seas were difficult and even your staff said they asked you to consider. I do understand you have overheads to cover but it was so difficult to see so many in the cabin with their heads in a bag and not seeing anything! If it’s going to be that bad out there maybe customers should be warned first. It’s not all about the money….

Viator is missing details of trip

Unfortunately booking through Viator left me with the wrong information. Viator does not give any details regarding arriving 30 minutes early to the tour. We arrived at the listed time (1:30pm) to see our boat sailing away. Viator will not refund because supposedly Spirit of Gold Coast sent out that information separately. I can’t find that email. Maybe it has to do with my last minute booking. Beware of missing details.

This was an amazing afternoon on the water with Captain Dean & crew. We learned lots about whales and spotted many during the trip, and 2 Momma whales with their calf next to them was incredible! Dolphins swam close to the boat to let us see them too! I highly recommend this tour to see the Gold Coast skyline viewed from the ocean. Thanks so much for a fantastic trip!

Great Whale Action, Very Lucky!

We were very fortunate to see some great whale action! Sensational! Rough trip out due to high winds & big swell but can’t blame anyone for this. Only one star deducted for very expensive drinks and limited food options on board. A pie/sausage roll small oven would be good …along with pre-made sandwiches. Just a suggestion.
