Visade oss Goreme Panorama, Underground City, Pigeon Valley, Ilhara Valley, Selime Monastery och Onyx workshop. Tillhandahöll snabb hämtning och avlämning som var så hjälpsam. Varje öre var värt det även om vi såg några billigare erbjudanden i staden när vi frågade men inte säker på om de skulle ha visat sig vara samma. Alla museibiljetter och lunch ingick i priset vi betalade - så se till att du kontrollerar allt som ingår innan du hoppar på en billigare affär. Vi hade bokat via Viator writh Hereke Tours and Travels. Grön turné är ett måste om du är i Cappadocia-regionen (Turkiet) Big Shout out till vår mycket hjälpsamma och erfarna guide Oggy och vår skickliga Shuttle-förare Johny. Observera - det finns många namn som ges till alla turer - blå, röd, grön - så se till att du kontrollerar resplanen och platserna de täcker i förväg och boka därefter.

Det var verkligen en fantastisk upplevelse. Jag rekommenderar starkt detta. Vår chaufför Melvut och vår guide Hakam gjorde vår upplevelse ännu bättre. Vår guide var rolig, artig och mycket kunnig. The tour was excellent. Hakan was our tour guide and he was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, humorous. We had a great time. We were able to see many of the important sites, including the amazing cave, town, views of the volcanoes, and many valleys. The selim monastery was amazing. We would definitely recommend this tour.

This tour is fantastic! The guide, Hakan, was marvelous and our driver was great. You learn so much on this tour, and lots of laughs on the way! The underground city and the cathedral were so cool. Lunch was delicious.

We had a great experience. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeble and eager to answer all our questions. Our guide opted for less crowed routes in a couple of places. Which was great! We were keen on visiting Kaymakli underground city hence we chose this tour. A lot of tours mention Kaymakli in their itenary but if you read the whole descripton, it'll say Derinkuyu. After a bit of search we found this tour from Hereke travels. Shout out to Ramazan our scholarly guide.

Worth every penny! Our guide was Hakan and was absolutely amazing. He gave a lot of information so at the end of the day you are left with way more than pictures. We visited all the attractions listed and unlike the red tour we did the day before, the focus was on landmarks rather than making us spend money in different shops. We enjoyed it greatly. Tour was in English and we had a diverse group with which we had a lot of fun.

We had a great time on the Green Tour with our guide Oguz from Hereke travel. He was extremely personable and knowledgeable that we were truly entertained the whole time. The places are very beautiful but I would warn that some areas on the green tour are not stroller friendly if you have kids and not walker friendly if you have someone with need for one. There are some areas where physical fitness is handy, but of course you can always opt out of walking through certain areas if it’s too difficult for you. We had no issue and had a great time. I would love to come back and also do the red tour in the future. Our lunch was also delicious and filling at a peaceful restaurant near a river. We were occupied the whole day and the driver and guide were very accommodating for any need someone had during the trip. Thanks so much for showing us the beauty of Kapadokya! :)

Well managed tour with a convenient itinerary

The tour was well managed in terms of balance between pace, comfort and information delivered. The tour starts and finishes at convenient times and allows adequate time to explore each destination including time for lunch. The itinerary has a comfortable mix between easy access points like view points, jewellery workshops and shopping points, and tedious access points like hike through Ihlara valley and underground city. The tour guide Siri tried her best to deliver historical and cultural facts behind every destination while managing the pace and ease of access of crowded destinations. The lunch was not great but the ambience of the riverside restaurant made up for it.

We had a small group tour . The group was with a very diversified nationality people. The tour was excellent. Our tour guide Hakan and driver Mirac were knowledgeable and caring. The sites of Selime Monastery will be in my mind for a long time. The underground city tour was in my bucket list and it was worth visiting. Hakan explained surviving mechanism of the dwellers very well . Gorome and pigeon valley sights and the Hakan's explanation of Pigeon drops usefulness is noteworthy. And the lunch was very tasty. We ate lunch by the River. My Trout dish was delicious. Overall a great experience.

Great small group tour

Would highly recommend this tour except for a couple things as mentioned below. Oggi our tour guide was excellent and knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions and give recommendations to places and restaurants. If you can only do one tour choose the green one as a girl on our tour that had done the red one the day before said the green tour was definitely the best. The Kaymakli underground city and Selime Monastery were fantastic and so interesting to learn about the history from having a guide. The walk was lovely and relaxing and nice for a couple of pictures along the way. Given this 4 stars they need as they need remove the sales pitch jewellery stop at the end, not only are they all hanging over you wanting to sell but it is also uninteresting and it spoils the end of this tour and everyone just wanted to get back to their hotels by this time also and the lunch was pretty underwhelming. It would be great if they could find a better location or food for the lunch.

AMAZING TOUR

I did this tour with my wife because we love hiking and exploring the western USA. Ogi, our tour guide did not disappoint us with this tour. He knows a lot of history and answered a lot of our questions during this tour. It was a long day for us. We really enjoyed the Kaymakli underground city, Sileme Monastery, Ilhara Valley hiking and the carpet making factory. I will summarize each one of them: Kaymakli underground city - Be sure you are not claustrophobic and no back pain because some passageways are narrow and you have to bend over or squat walking if you will. For me it was a good quads exercise which I typically do in the gym. It is amazing to know how christians survived the Assyrian army and how they hide underground to protect their families. There were booby traps inside and they made the passageways narrow to slow down the army. Selime Monastery- is where George Lucas got his inspiration for Star Wars but the movie was not filmed here. Be sure to identify the animals on the wall inside the chapel. Guess what animal you see. Ilhara Valley Hiking - requires endurance. It is about 4 km hike total. It is a nature hike and the view is amazing. It was also bright sunny day. Here you will see pigeon houses and Christian monks used to meditate in this area. You will pass by abandoned chapel carved inside rock but it is not accessible at the moment. Before this we had lunch break in a restaurant by the creek. Food is great! The last stop was carpet making factory - if you are into carpets this is a must. Turkish carpets are good quality and durable compared to Persian carpets in my opinion because of the turkish knot they use instead of single knot in other countries. Thanks to Ogi and Captain the driver.

Hakan was a great guide and he gave us all the insight for the places we have seen. I would highly recommend taking the tour with him to have a true feeling of the rich history in Cappadocia. The favourite part of this trip was the underground city of Kaymakli.

Our tour guide Oz and driver Mike are organized and efficient. Oz is not only funny but very informative. The tour is very unique as it brings you places that are very distinct to Capadoccia’s history. The small group size made the experience very interactive too. Highly highly recommended.
