Jorge, our host was outstanding! He was very professional and explained everything on out itinerary with great detail. If you want something private this is the way to go.

Great tour for the thirsty for knowledge

We had a great time on our tour and found our guide to be incredibly knowledgeable. Our goal was probably different than most as we have a true desire to learn about the details of tequila production and he was able to answer all our questions nicely. The care he used for the transportation was very nice and clean. We could have done without the last stop as that felt like a drunk fest and this was not our intention but I believe most tours to Tequila include such stop.

Informative but awkward

The tour of the distillery was very informative. Jorge was an excellent tour guide. We learned a lot about the process of how tequila is made (which was our main objective). The tequila tasting was also super informative and now we know how to sample different tequilas and compare flavors. The tour advertisement said "luxury vehicle", but in my opinion, this was not luxury. We were in the way-way back seat of a chevy suburban with not enough legroom and most of the time we could not hear what the guide was saying while in the car. Everyone on the tour spoke English, but one couple from California insisted on practicing their Spanish with Jorge, so, half of the information discussed in the trip up to Tequila and on the way back we didn't understand. So, informative and awkward.

Hi James, thank you for your review, we are happy to know that you confirm that your main objective of learning the tequila making process, the tour and the guide was excellent, we are sorry that you felt uncomfortable about the seats, this is the first complaint that we received, personally I’m 1.85mts (5.9 food) high and I have being on the back seats I have enough room for my legs , there it’s an outlet for charging my phone an a place to put beer or water that are free provided for us in the tour. About the conversation that you say that Jorge with the couple that want to practice their Spanish , all the information about the tour it’s provided on the distillery or on the other stops so the “information discussed in the trip to tequila” it was just a conversation.

Learn to Taste Tequila like a master

Jorge did a great job leading our tour. He taught us all the essentials (which ends up being quite a lot) to taste tequila like a master tequilero. And we had a lot of fun exploring Tequila and music at El Güero.

The tour exceded my expectations. Driver communicated with us very well the day before with instructions. We were picked up straight from our hotel and got offered something to drink instantly. Our tour guide Leon was amazing, so kind and explained everything very well. The restaurant we went to was amazing food was delicious. I would highly recommend this tour!

This tour is great trip to enjoy a tequila and know how it is made. The tour guide, Jorge, was a great host. Always communicating with guests and ensuring questions were answered and making everyone feel welcomed, definitely would recommend the tour.

The testing with Jorge was really FUN. We learned lots about Tequila as well. The SUV was comfortable, food was great, company nice, and Tequila a truly charming town. We were confortable and safe all the time; really well taken care of. I highly recommend this VIP experience!

Awesome Tour in a comfortable air conditioned suburban with ice cold drinks available. Out driver, Jorge was awesome and took us to great spots for pictures. The icing on the cake was the authentic lunch at a beautiful restaurant that was included. Highly recommend 🎉
