Great day at Peggy's Cove and Lunenburg

We had an amazing day with Paul, with stops along the southern coast of Nova Scotia. We stopped for about an hour in Peggy's Cove, which was a perfect amount of time to enjoy the amazing views by the lighthouse and stroll through the small fishing village. When we got to Lunenburg, Paul stopped by several notable buildings, telling us about them, before pointing out good lunch restaurant options. We had a bit more time there, before returning back to Halifax. Overall, this was an excellent day and Paul took very good care of us.

The Half-Day Small-Group Tour of Nova Scotia's South Shore was fantastic and well-organized. The tour is great for anyone with limited time in Nova Scotia. Paul, our guide, was very friendly and knowledgable. Pick-up from the hotel was on time and the van is very comfortable. Despite the cold and rain, I had an amazing time. Thank you !

The tour was great! Paul is knowledgeable, professional and courteous. He informed us about the history of Halifax. We were also given ample time to explore the places by ourselves. I would definitely recommend this tour.

One of the most quaint spots in Nova Scotia

What a wonderful experience and ending to a fabulous trip to Nova Scotia to take in the most quaint views available; Lunenburg & Peggy's Cove. Paul was the consummate host, guide and driver. Extremely knowledgeable of the local areas, comfortable vehicle and full of tidbits of stories to spice up the day. A friendly gentleman whose mission it was to ensure every member of our intimate party received a stellar experience of the beautiful Southern Shore.... even after the recent devesting flash floods remapping safe travel routes. The history that I learned about all the places and about Nova Scotia in general. The rocks at Peggy’s Cove were so unique and seeing the Bluenose sailboat was very cool.

Peggy's Cove was wonderful when on a small group tour and you can beat the buses there in the morning as we did. Only a few people out there. Then 4 buses arrived so I'm sure it would be crowded at that point! Our experience was wonderful though, almost more-so since it was somewhat foggy. A surprise stop to see some lobsters, and a lovely lunch time stop at beautiful Lunenberg were also unexpected highlights!

First let me say read the reviews on this tour first..All Good! So booked it. PAUL the owner operator immediately touched base with me, setting me up in a great parking lot for the day to park that did not break the bank. I was staying in a hotel.out of the pick up area. He was right on time, had seating arranged fairly by first come first serve, had a nice suit jacket on clean welcoming from the start We shared the van with 5 other people and we were very comfortable. The tour from the start was informative, pleasant, amazing with a great amount of information leaving nothing to the imagination. We learned about the history of the area,the good the bad and about he amazing people. Paul shared info about himself and there was no question he could not answer. For the ride to the various places we went he had videos about the important occurances that made up the history of the area. We had time to explore ,taste the foods,shop and the photo stops were magnificent. He left no stone unturned! He runs the tour like a well oiled machine and we are so happy we booked with him. It was well worth the price and gave us a wonderful take home for the 6 hours! Thank you Paul and much success to your business in the future. One more thing there was a couple of people on the tour who had no respect for the time constraints of the tour,so we could get as much in as Paul had planned and I was very impressed the way he handled it and remained a perfect gentlemen and kind to all. Again thank you for the memories!

This was a fantastic tour, made even better by our guide, Paul. He had a lot of information to share about the history of the area and included some videos and pictures to enhance the drive. We enjoyed some time to explore at our stops along the way. I’d totally recommend this tour to see the south shore of Nova Scotia.

Paul was an excellent tour guide. This is his company (so he's going to make sure that everything is done correctly) and he is proud of his work. He is extremely knowledgeable about the history of this area. Rather than only lecture during the drives, he shows videos such as the Halifax explosion (2nd largest in the world) and of the hospitality shown to the stranded people who had to spend 4 days in Ganger due to the forced landing of all planes after 9-11. I would strongly recommend booking a tour with Paul

The tour was fantastic! Paul, the tour guide, was extremely friendly and knowledgeable of the local history of Halifax, sharing all sorts of stories and facts. The tour allowed plenty of time for exploring in Peggy`s Cove and Lunenberg, enough to grab some lobster rolls for lunch! Paul went out of the day to take us to a spot that sells live lobsters and we saw a rare blue lobster, which was so cool. When the tour was over, Paul went out of his way to drop me off at a spot I wanted to go in Cole Harbour, and that was awesome. Thanks so much for the great tour Paul!

An exceptional tour of the regions outside of Halifax

My husband and I had a wonderful time on the half-day tour of Peggy’s Cove, Lunenburg, and Mahone Bay. Our guide, Paul, was very knowledgeable about each area and provided a fascinating history lesson of Halifax and the surrounding area. He picked us up at the hotel right on time, and returned us to Halifax a little over six hours later. The lighthouse at Peggy’s Cove was an incredible site, and we were allowed sufficient time to see it up close and go to the gift shop. We spent 1.5 hours in the picturesque town of Lunenburg, where we had lunch and explored this lovely town. Mahone Bay was our last stop before returning to Halifax; there we went inside a restored Anglican Church that was breathtaking. We highly recommend this tour with Paul as your guide!
