Vi hade en sådan underbar 10/10-upplevelse. Du vill inte missa möjligheten att ta den här turen till pamukkale. Lunchbuffén var gudomlig, så många traditionella alternativ som gjorde oss glada. Det här var en fantastisk turné men jag har tre råd. 1) be att få uppgradera lunchen eftersom buffén var ganska dålig tyvärr. 2) ta med vattenskor. Kommer du att vara den enda i poolerna med dem, ja, men kommer du ihåg det här rådet och tacka mig? absolut. 3) betala för en skåpbil eller golfbil och gå på teater. Det är definitivt värt det!

Loved the tour

The tour was Great! The van that took us was very comfortable and our guide, Ezgi, really knew the historic facts and gave us a lot of information. I went to the tour for the travertines and I was really surprised by Hierapolis. There are many nice things to see there and we also loved the Cleópatra pool. I wish we would have 1 more hour there to enjoy the place for longer, but it was a lovely day! The lunch place was an open buffet and the food was delicious.

It was a pleasant journey to visit Pamukalle. We saw beautiful nature and the trip is on schedule. We were given 2 hours free time to explore ourselves which is not enough but its okay since we still have to drive back another 3 hours. The things that can be a bit better is the lunch provided. Lets say its too basic and not much choices. The guide Erman is very pleasant and explained everything during the trip.

Great experience with the knowledgeable Selim! He is always ready to provide any information about the history and local recommendations. It was drizzling during our tour but everything was well planned. We opted for the buggy service because the walk could be challenging for my father’s heart & legs. There’s a total of two groups so our journey was quite neat. There was sufficient time for us to explore the Travertine. Also because we went in December so it was cold and off-peak. We were given short breaks in between the drives (approximately 3hrs each) to and from Izmir. Thank you for the recommendations for food, restaurants and places to visit. Highly recommended 😊

A good day spent in Pamukkale- could have been better!

Pamukkale is a long drive away from Izmir, so this trip was about 7 hours of driving. Hierapolis is a huge enclave of several sights and monuments, which is pretty cool. Pamukkale itself is a beautiful natural white-stone formation and lovely to explore. However, a big knock against it is that it's super crowded. People are pushing and shoving each other on the slippery surface. I saw many people fall down. Another issue, is that it's extremely hot. The white surface reflects the sunlight so it gets super super warm. It got uncomfortable very quickly. Our guide today was Selim. And sorry to say but it wasn't the best experience. Some people in our party could not hike up the mountain for the amphitheater so they were left out completely. The guide made no attempt to make them feel included. No information on how Pamukkale was formed was given. He did not even offer to take pics of us in any of the locations, instead just walking ahead, on and on. Selim seemed like he was not super interested, so that was a bummer.

Very well organised tour, our guide was so friendly and helpful. It’s a very long drive from Izmir to Pamukkale and from departure to when you we had lunch it was more than 6 hours so please prepare some snacks or light foods yourself. There was a shopping section included in the end of the tour but if you don’t buy anything it could be really quick and it was on the way back so not much a big issue.

Fantastic trip to Pammukale. Our tour guide Erman Uslu and driver Can made our trip extremely pleasant, knowledgable and very enjoyable. The drive to Pammukale is 3 hours from Izmir and Can made it so safe and relaxing for us both ways. Erman is extremely knowledgable, passionate about tourism and his job, and is very friendly. He kept us so well informed about history and geography of Turkey and later about Pammukale and city of Hieropolis, its history, geography abd civilisation. We visited all the sites at Pammukale. Erman also was able to organise a last minute paragliding activity over Pammukale for us. Absolutely fantastic tour. 5 star
