Firstly when I booked this trip I was under the impression it was a day trip and we would be picked up at 9.30, this wasn’t the case and we were in fact collected at 12.45. The journey is one and a half hours, when we got there we waited approximately 45 minutes to get the tickets, time was passing by, anyway our guide appeared and we were rounded up and off we went at the gallop, due to the time delay the visit was rushed and no time was allowed to reflect, we didn’t see everything which is what I’d paid to do, it’s unlikely we will return so I don’t feel I got value for money and we certainly didn’t see all we wanted to see. If you can’t guarantee enough time on the site then don’t offer tickets, this is the only trip I’ve ever booked that didn’t offer the passengers a bottle of water, temperatures were around 30 so it was rather warm and water would have been welcome, luckily we did have some of our own. It’s an amazing place to visit and I would recommend people to go, but go for another company that can deliver a better experience. On a positive note our driver was lovely but was put under pressure by the company.

Disappointing

Hotel pick up time was altered by 4 hours with less than 12 hrs notice. Luckily we hadn't planned anything else for the day. The transfer was not good as driver was instructed to divert to the airport to pick up another couple that had missed their agreed pick up. We sat in the taxi waiting for them to clear security for 40 mins. This made our journey to Auschwitz much longer than the 1 hr 30mins advised. The tour itself was very rushed so felt we didn't get a full experience and hearing guide was difficult as other groups directly behind us. A lot of our guides narrative was missed or distorted as she was so far ahead of us. We were not able to take the time to look at and read photographs and desctiptors. All in all a disappointing experience

Auschwitz-Birkenau Guided Tour 5/5!

It’s quite hard to describe the tour and take it all in. However, I would definitely recommend the tour and the company’s guide/driver Monika. I should also mention the gentleman that took us through the Auschwitz-Birkenau Guided Tour and how he described it in a way that made me really think and reflect on what happened and how history should be remembered. We can all learn something from this tour.

Nice tour!

Pick-up was 15 minutes late, but we got an WhatsApp to tell us, so no worries. But there was another worry: the 8 people squeezed into a minivan, half of them being so big that they used 2 seats instead of one. Not very comfortable sitting like that for a 1,5 hour drive ánd back again. At Auschwitz it was a bit crazy at the entrance, because of all the groups waiting to get in. The Auschwitz guide was a nice lady talking for 1,5 hour straight. A lot of information, that was good. After Auschwitz the driver took us to Birkenau, where the same guide took us to the monument and barracks. A nice tour, apart from the transport.
