Fortsätt till Poselska Street, avbildad i en av de tragiska scenerna i filmen. Låt sedan Gamla stan och resa till det judiska kvarteret i Kazimierz. Hemma till ett stort judiskt samhälle från 1300-talet till andra världskriget förändrades landskapet i Kazimierz drastiskt under Förintelsen, då samhället försvann till följd av massdeportationer. Se den gamla judiska ghetto på Szeroka Street, som också visas i filmen.

Efter att ha tagit en kort vila i Kazimierz, gå till distriktet Podgorze, på andra sidan Vistula-floden. Korsa Piłsudskiego-bron till WWII Ghetto i Krakow-Podgorze, som inrättades i mars 1941. Se den återstående delen av den ursprungliga WWII Ghetto-muren och Ghetto Heroes Square.

The tour was very good led by a very well informed guide who obviously had a deep understanding of the Jewish history. The only thing missing we felt was we would have liked a little more information about where the scenes in Schlinders List were filmed.

A must do as Krakow is a city of enormous history. Our guide was amazing, fun and full of interesting stories and facts. Very interesting, had a very good guide who's family came from the area before the war and was very knowledgeable,If you have a good guide you do not need to visit the Schindler Factory, just repeats what you already know and our guide at the factory was not that great.

This tour was very interesting and it gave me a lot of insight about the Kazimierz Jewish Quarter. A lot of the sights we visited I wouldn't have gone on my own. A great way to discover one of the liveliest districts in Krakow.

we were late arriving and could not find our group. THere were so many other groups there. It would be nice if they posted the itinary sp so we could have met up. I called the office and thought it would be easy to call the guide to ask where to meet. Not possible. Think that is pretty lame. They were nice and offered to let us go another day - but never sent the voucher.

This walking tour was on a cold rainy day which didn't help the experience. The tour did not allow any time to take photo's and we did not enter any of the buildings. The guide was informative but I felt I needed to revisit the area later, to be able to fully comprehend the events of the past and take photograph's.

I would highly recommend this tour if you're interested in learning about the history of the Jewish people in Krakow. We covered a lot of ground ending at Schindler's Factory during the tour, but the best part was our guide. Big guy with a voice to match, who is a subject area expert in all that he covers. I feel terrible because I don't recall the guide's name, but if you book this tour and see this guy at the beginning, you're in for a treat.

If you want a santised version of WW2...

If you want a santised version of WW2 history along with movie locations from Schindlers list this is the tour for you. If you want to know more about the lives and history of those that lived in the Jewish Quarter - don't bother. As you flight your way past other tour groups either on foot or in golf carts the whole Jewish Quarter is completely souless and treated as a theme park rather than a place where the entire population was lost.

The guide was very hard to understand. He was supposed to take us to Schindler's Factory and leave us there. However he left us early and just pointed us in the general direction. There was a lot of construction going on so it was hard to get there on our own.

Great insight into the ghetto's and the surrounding area of the Jewish quarters in Kazimierz that included a visit to Schindlers factory. Entry is free on the second Monday of each month note, entry is not included in the tour. We decided to go into the factory which is now a magnificent museum that holds invaluable material about the Holocaust and events leading up to the Second World War. Worth a visit a truly fantastic exhibition.
