Outstanding service for a pilgrim!

Filipe our guide was great at communicating with us and made our trip very memorable. We had plenty of breaks and was intent on ensuring we met our trip goals (attend mass and devotion). My parents have limited mobility and he was very attentive to their needs. Thank you so much Filipe! As a tip to other travelers, just be aware of the crowds that will flock to Fatima during times of special pilgrimage (the anniversaries of the first appearance, etc). We were there the day before the 13th of May. It will be very crowded and if you aim to see everything with your guide, you may be disappointed because it will be almost impossible to find parking on these special days! Filipe had to drive around a lot while I took my parents in to visit - we didn’t mind since our goal was to worship. It has a different atmosphere with all the pilgrims. A special time for devotees.

Unforgettable Day at Fatima

John was a wonderful tour guide. He explained the story of the three children, told us where they were buried and how to lite the candles. He took us to a great souvenir shop, he advised us not to shop at Fatima and he was correct. We enjoyed the day it will have lasting memories for us.

An amazing tour to Fatima - Our guide Luis spent time to know our group and what we were looking for from the trip - was very knowledgeable and informative. Sharing with us the history of Fatima, and of Portugal - took the time to point out the Cork trees, share with us some delicious Figs, and gave us time to explore at our own pace! It was an amazing day!

YOU MUST DO TOUR WITH PHILLIPE

We had the BEST EXPERIENCE ON OUR TOUR OF FATIMA WITH PHILLIPE!!!! He picked up our group of 3 couples and drove us from Lisbon to Fátima. He graciously dropped our luggage off at the hotel then we visited the sites of Fatima. We walked the Stations of the Cross to the visionaries village and visited their homes. He took us to a FABULOUS restaurant in Batahla then the Batahla Monestary. The whole day was spiritual and beautiful. Phillipe’s knowledge was incredible and so interesting. He made our day/evening PERFECT!! PHILLIPE was THE BEST GUIDE!!!

Our tour guide had good command of English and was personable, and was also attentive to my son's food allergies and my mom's mobility challenges. We also never felt rushed and had plenty of time to see multiple sites connected with the apparitions, in addition to eating and shopping. Thanks for a great time!

Fatima, Felipe, &Faith filled!

It was a cold, foggy, rainy day in Lisbon, and our driver Felipe was stuck in traffic; however, he called multiple times to update us as we were waiting at the NCL pier. He was extremely apologetic, but it was understandable. The rest of the tour was amazing! He fit all of our cruise luggage in his car and as we drove Felipe discussed our Catholic Faith and the happenings at Fatima as well as the importance of the events that happened there. When we arrived he let us light candles, then shower us the Rosary Chapel where a Mass was being said in English. Since we were late, we decided to attend the Portuguese Mass in the Marian Cathedral where we also got to see the tombs of the visionaries. Amazing! Felipe was an inspiration and allowed us all of the time we wanted to pray, cry, and even go to confession if we wanted! He also took us to an out of the way place to purchase gifts/souvenirs which were less expensive than at the shrines. And to make it up to us for being late, he took us to another cathedral that was the inspiration for Notre Dame. Incredible to go inside and envision the kings and Knights Templar who had been there. Next we visited the original homes of the 3 children visionaries and the original apparition sites!! Although it was cold and rainy, you could sense the presence of holiness in this poor village. A clear reminder of humility and the lives of the Holy Family! After the tour, Felipe graciously took us to our Hotel and took our luggage in for us! I cannot say enough good things about this experience! Take it! And ask for Felipe!! Well worth it!
