Siobhan is a wonderful guide! I love how she reached out before the tour to advise me of changes in the train schedule and to learn more about what I wanted to know. When we started the tour, she began with the Tudor kitchens. I didn't expect to be wowed by them, but I was because of how she brought the kitchens to life. I learned so much that I didn't realize about the running of the palace. I loved how she helped me understand the layout of the great hall, presence chamber, and privvy apartments (private rooms that are now re-done in the Baroque style). Because of her instruction, I came to appreciate how claustrophobic the palace could be for residents. Finally, I love how she shared information about the palace that's not widely known. For instance, I learned where Jane Seymour's birthing chamber was. It would be AMAZING if HRP could bring that back to life. That said, she humanized the wives in the way I was looking for a guide to. Thanks to her instruction, I felt like I could look at their stories without the veneer of Hollywood obscuring the prosaic reality. Thanks for Siobhan for a wonderful day!

An Amazing Hampton Tour with Siobhan!

Siobhan was an amazing tour guide for my visit to Hampton Court Palace. She is so knowledgeable about the Tudors and the palace. I had a wonderful time picking her brain and I felt like I got so much insider information that I wouldn’t have gotten on an audio tour. She has an incredibly impressive background as a historian and in talking to her, her passion for her craft shines through. I highly recommend touring Hampton or any other locations where she operates. You will have a wonderful time in her company and you will learn a lot. Thank you Siobhan for the wonderful tour. AMAZING MORNING AT HAMPTON COURT

Siobhan gave us an unforgettable experience at Hampton Court. Her tour brought the place and its inhabitants to life! Her knowledge was impressive and her obvious love of history infectious. She moved us through a lot in a limited amount of time but we never felt rushed. Would love to do another tour with her someday. As for the site itself—don’t miss it!

Seeing the H&A rose, the kitchens, the haunted corridor, seeing the art work and stained glass were breathtaking. Ms. Clarke was so informative and explained things in such detail that I found myself reminding myself this was REALLY happening. I can't think of a better way I could have spent my day.
