Ditt reseföretag gick utöver det vanliga. Jag var verkligen glad att jag åkte med dig. Den enda anledningen till att inte ge 5 stjärna var studentguiden på ön. Jag önskar att ditt företag gjorde turnén istället för honom.
Eleven var svår att förstå och mycket påträngande med sin kunskap om historien. Han drönade på hela tiden om saker som vi inte brydde oss om. Han kunde inte läsa vårt kroppsspråk och ögonrullningar. För mycket!

Jag tyckte att denna turné var utmärkt. Guiden var mycket kunnig om Elephanta Island och talade engelska mycket bra. Han hjälpte mig att snabbt få tag i mina biljetter och hur man manövrera runt på webbplatserna. Han hjälpte mig också genom folkmassorna för att få en bra plats på returfärjan. Han bodde där och kände alla, inklusive vilka säljare och artiklar som var värda att köpa. Föraren Dipen var också utmärkt. Han pratade engelska mycket bra och var en mängd kunskap om staden och landet. Jag skulle starkt rekommendera honom som din förare. Han känner sig runt staden och var mycket hjälpsam när han gjorde inköp. Han var respektfull och en utmärkt förare i Mumbais irriterande trafik. Jag kan inte rekommendera det här företaget tillräckligt.

It was nice to see the caves but the local guide spent more time telling us how to pray to Krishna. We had spent a month in India and this was the first time a guide tried to tell us how to pray in his religion. He really didn't seem to know much about the sculptues. All in all, it was disappointing.

Our experience on Elephanta island was well organized, starting with a pickup from our hotel and ferry to the Island. Once we arrived, our tour guide, Sam, who grew up on the island and whose parents still reside there (visit their veggie burger shop, it's delicious!), gave us an in depth cultural and historical viewpoint regarding these ancient relics. Exploring the carvings within the cave was jaw dropping, with intricate memorials that show how dedicated to creating these pieces of art the original inhabitants were. Sam's enthusiasm made the experience even more profound, and his insight was something that we will remember for the rest of our lives. Additionally, we were able to enjoy a traditional meal in his home, which is something that was greatly appreciated and his hospitality is something we will carry in our hearts and spirits forever. This tour is one we recommend for anyone that is looking to discover a hidden gem right off the coast of Mumbai, and gives a great respite from the hustle and bustle of India's financial capital.

A must see and very impressive. Go early before the crowds and ensure a local guide for the best insights. There are a few steps but not too many.
A little expensive given the ticket prices (ferry and entry). Could be done locally.

Seeing the statues and how they were carved. The whole chamber has been carved from solid stone, therefore it's amazing the craftsmanship that has gone into this creation.
