En av mina mest oförglömliga upplevelser var att snubbla över en filminspelning under min turné. Min guide hade inte bara en mängd kunskap om stadens attraktioner utan delade också med sig av fascinerande insikter om dess pulserande kultur. Jag är tacksam mot arrangörerna för att de skapade en sådan turné, särskilt för bioentusiaster som jag.

Fantastisk upplevelse!

Bollywood Studios Tour var en riktigt cool upplevelse. Vi fick se livefilmning av några filmer och shower, ta några coola bilder och njuta av livedans. Tiger var en fantastisk reseguide och maten till lunch på Persian Darbar var den bästa indiska maten vi hade på vår resa! Jag önskar bara att vi hade en konsekvent förare för dagen istället för att Tiger skulle behöva ringa ubers. Chefen var snäll och checkade in på oss under hela vår turné. Sammantaget en rolig upplevelse i mumbai och jag skulle rekommendera till andra turister som besöker.

Wow BOLLYWOOD på nära håll och lev! Rahil och Tiger var fantastiska och tog oss igenom studion, introducerade oss för skådespelare och lät oss få den verkliga känslan av vad som krävs för att få en show att hända. Great Tour Guide - Beware of Viator Charges

My Guide Sho was very good and made the tour great. Unfortunately Viator charged me in American dollars not Australian dollars and made this tour very expensive. Not happy with Viator.

Very personal tour around the whole studio, much cosier than large Hollywood studios. Take photos and videos and see sets in action. Dancing demonstrations and participation and dressing up, photos. Lunch included and includes pick up with luggage and drop off at airport if required.

An excellent tour of Bollywood with our friends. We met our guide Rushi time we arranged. He was a screenwriter for Bollywood films had a great knowledge of how things done. He took us round studios where films were taken also watched a live filming which was interesting. Towards the end of our tour we were shown live Bollywood authentic very colourful dancing. To top it all we were taken to a traditional restaurant and had a lovely meal. Overall we recommend this tour.

A VIP Experience for Dedicated Film Nerds

WOW! Even after digesting all the rave reviews here, we didn’t quite know what to expect. At best, we figured it would be similar to some of the tours we’ve taken on Hollywood studio lots in California. We assumed we’d be lost amidst a large group of mostly uninterested tourists being shuttled around to unused or inactive sets as a perky guide recited meaningless trivia that ultimately told us nothing about the actual filmmaking process. Instead, we were treated like VIPs and given unparalleled access to active sets that were filming as we stood by and watched, usually just behind the director or a sound mixer or camera operator. This is essentially a private tour, as we joined with just one other couple and crept around between, behind and through sets at the direction of our intrepid, knowledgeable and enthusiastic guides: Rahil, Roosh and Ashu. Outside of actually having a job in the film industry, there is no way you’ll ever be given this kind of access anywhere else. The second half of the experience involved more interactive activities that spotlighted post production. We participated in a little karaoke, learned some traditional Indian dance moves directly from the dancers, and acted out a few scenes for the camera while dressed in costumes. We also viewed several videos detailing various crafts- from foley sound effects to CGI to voice over artists as well as brief overviews of Bollywood and this particular studio. If there was one area for improvement, it was probably these short videos- many weren’t specific to Bollywood or the studio in particular and/or were too cursory or generic to provide much detail about their subject matter. After all that, our guides took us out to eat at a wonderful restaurant; the meal was absolutely delicious and one of the very best we had during our entire stay in the country. We were treated like old friends throughout the entire experience and Rahil in particular could not have been more accommodating, more enthusiastic or more entertaining. All three of our guides answered our questions and spoke passionately about the filmmaking process and their own hopes and dreams within the industry. If you are a film nerd like us and spend as much time reading or watching behind-the-scenes/making-of material about your favorite shows or films as you do actually viewing those programs or movies, this isn’t just the best studio tour for you in Mumbai; it’s likely the best in the whole world.

Definitely a must do for everyone! Great time guaranteed!

We had the best time ever. Rahil is, besides an actor himself, also an assistant director and a great guide. He knows his way in the studio's. We got the opportunity to see two television series being filmed, were able to make pictures with actors, see behind the scenes. There was a movie about the history of Bollywood, some dancing, dressing up etc. We had a great laugh recording Don't Worry, Be Happy in the music studio, taped our very own movie scene. And a nice lunch with good talk afterwards. Great time and defenitely recommended!

A great Bollywood experience!

Rahil was a great guide for this tour! He works with the studios and knows his way around, and also the cast and crew members. We felt like VIPs at the studio. We had some great experiences and saw some production being filmed. I highly recommend this tour if you have time in Mumbai!

An absolutely wonderful time on this tour with great insights into the inner workings of Bollywood. Our guide Rahil Khan, an actor/screenwriter himself and his colleagues took great care of us and were very hospitable showing us the different stages of film production, live filming of a tv serial, and so much more. Of course lunch was absolutely delicious as well at Persian Darbar. The best tour we had in India combined with one of the best meals. Definitely run and book this tour when you are in Mumbai. You won’t regret it.
