Family fun day trip

The skipper and deckie were amazing , the water was a little rough but it was a smooth ride . We had an amazing day trip , very relaxing and enjoyable .

Easy boat ride for kids...

Easy boat ride for kids aged 6-15. Great adventure to the snorkeling beach - they could snorkel off the beach and see reef, turtles, sting rays. Gear all worked well and the people were friendly and gave great advice. Good mobility is necessary for the hike over! The lunch place on the island was also great.

The beaches and water clarity. Disappointing food experience. We ordered burgers and they came to us in about 3-4 minutes wrapped in foil which I thought a little strange but concluded they had to have been precooked. Upon unwrapping and lifting the burger I noticed that the bun was very cold as if it had come out of a refrigerator. I returned the burger the young server apologised and said she would have the attended to????. 3 minutes later the burger was returned and the bun at best was mildly lukewarm at least not cold. Very disappointing given the rest of the day.

Service from the ferry crew was friendly and excellent. We were entitled to free snorkel gear or an hours paddle boarding or an hours kayaking.. As there were 2 of us, they allowed us to use a combination. So we shared snorkeling and SUPing. The young man at the kiosk even offered to help carry the heavy board. The lunch was delicious too!

The walking tracks to remote beaches. Perhaps state govenment could put in some cash to upgrade the walking tracks, there is potential to snap an ankle. Several paths are steep and slippery. For families this needs attention. Despite this the experience was memorable and I would go back.

Had a great time snorkelling got to see some turtles. Lunch was delicious and the coffee was great. All the staff are friendly and the dive shop staff are fantastic.

Lack of information. I booked through viator agency which added a fee of $100+ . Next time will book directly through one of the agencies based at Roslyn bay Harbour. Was told could order anything off the menu but was limited to lunch section. Wouldn't swap the included beer from great northern to vb. Meals were well below par. Cold steak sandwiches. Burgers very ordinary. Chips were pastie. Smoothies were good. Service was good. No assistance with getting stand up paddleboards to and from water very heavy and awkward. Expensive learning curve with the package bought. Transfer to and from was good. Need a few days on the island to enjoy all it has to offer. Was a nice trip just the food and pricing was disappointing.

I just had a look myself, and on our tour page on the Viator website, it does have explicit information outlining that it is "Lunch - 1 Choice off the lunch menu," and "Light refreshments - Choice of a schooner of Great Northern, glass of house wine or soft drink." This information is at the bottom of the page if you scroll down. While we believe that the lunch is terrific value, we have certainly taken on board your concerns regarding the quality of your meals and have passed this feedback on to our kitchen team. We often receive great feedback on the meals that we provide. We have never heard of Viator adding on an exorbitant fee before. We would encourage you to reach out to us directly for us to look into this for you. While our tour does include equipment hire from Keppel Dive, they are a separate business to Keppel Konnections. Our day trip bundle comprised of lunch and snorkelling on Great Keppel and it did not disappoint. For a young family wanting to experience the island and witness spectacular marine wildlife we had a seriously beautiful day. The lunch hit the spot and the staff were helpful and friendly from wo to go. Thank you
