Vår guide från RhodesLeisure var absolut bäst på vår 20 dagars resa. Min fru och jag, som reser med våra 9 och 11 år gamla, var fascinerade av hur vacker denna ö var och Mike visade oss allt. Vi träffade alla de stora platserna men besökte också privata strandområden där vi var de enda; vi vet att vi har några av de bästa bilderna från vår familj. Han stannade och plockade färska örter för oss att lukta och frukt för oss att smaka för att ge insikt i hur han och andra lokalbefolkningar brinner för sitt hem. Han avslutade vår dag med överraskning Baklava som han tillhandahöll utan kostnad för oss. Detta var inte bara någon Baklava, utan det bästa jag någonsin har smakat, och droppade av spetskompetens; stoppet var inte på resplanen och kändes som att han bara ville behandla våra barn till den bästa efterrätten han kände. Hans lokala kunskap, passion för sitt hem och uppmärksamhet på detaljer gjorde honom till den bästa reseguiden jag någonsin har sett och jag är mycket tacksam.

Excellent private group tour with Vasilis. We had a comprehensive tour of Rhodes and the best was lunch at a local restaurant on the beach away from all the tourists. We were two couples traveling together and we all really enjoyed this tour b

Great introduction to Rhodes

Our tour of Rhodes was with Vasilis. He was very knowledge about his home town and wanted to share his love of the island with his guests. The tour was enjoyable with some time to walk in the old town area and again in Lindos. I'd recommend this tour but suggest having lunch earlier. We didn't eat until 2pm which was late for our group of 8. Lunch was overly expensive as we were taken to a friend's restaurant. Lunch is paid for separately and you pay for the fresh fish by the weight. The walking might be a bit much for anyone with mobility issues. Lindos was crowded the day we were there and the paths are uneven. Good value.

Panos was a great guide who took us to all the important places: Lindos, Acropolis, the old city, a few beaches and vantage points. The car was very comfortable and cool. He was able to drop us off at the places without having to worry about parking. He was also on time everytime. It was a great experience, well worth the money.

We loved the tour !!! St. Anthony Bay & St. Pauls , just beautiful . ( Bill) was awesome , he told us history and took us to great places . The vehicle was extremely comfortable. The owner of company , come & met us at the restaurant , just to check on us . They were very attentive. Would def recommend them & use them again !!! Not just our driver , he our friend now ❤️

Best All Day Tour of Rhodes!

Our tour started at 9am and Mike met us at our hotel right on time and picked us up in a nice and clean Mercedes. We visited all of the locations listed on the tour and more with Mike! My favourite part was when Mike stopped on the side of the road and we picked some oranges from a tree and each ate 2-3 of them each! They were delicious! Mike was well versed in the history of Rhodes and told us all about the ancient philosophers, warriors, leaders, and politicians whose statues and areas of birth we passed. Anytime we had a question Mike was easily able to answer! Mike took us to a great ceramic pottery store owned by Yanni who hand crafts everything for sale. They were beautiful and we bought a wine jug and some serving cups. Mike also took us to an affordable taverna with great food near the 7 springs, as well as Lindos, Anthony Quinn Bay, Kalithea, the Rhodes acropolis, Rhodes medieval city, and other places. Our tour was scheduled until 3pm but our activities and lunch extended the day until 5pm. Mike adjusted the tour according to our interests, goals, and things we had already seen. It was an excellent way to view the island. We learned a ton, enjoyed ourselves, and had an all-around great day! He was a patient, knowledgeable and kind tour guide. Highly recommend.

Mike was a fantastic tour guide. He was very personable, engaging, and informative, without inundating us with a tidal wave of superfluous details. He provided us with a great overview of the island and selected wonderful places to visit above and beyond the two landmarks (the old city and the Lindos Acropolis). His car (MB) is very clean and comfortable. By the end of the day, Mike felt like an old friend. We highly recommend Mike.

Gorgeous Day in Rhodes

Mike provided us with an excellent private tour for 4. He has lived there his entire life and he timed everything perfectly with the best routes, the best views and places to stop. He also took us to a local pottery shop and we had a waterfront lunch at Haraki Bay Hotel. The view there was gorgeous. We were able to explore the entire island. I would highly recommend Mike. You will not be disappointed.

We highly recommend Mike's private tour of Rhodes. He is an excellent driver (much appreciated by my daughter who was often motion sick in Rome cabs). He took us all around the island. He took lots of family photos. He is very knowledgeable and gave us just the right amount of history on our tour. We requested that he take us to the olive oil farm rather than the pottery shop. He gave us free time in Lindos to climb the acropolis but did not guide our tour there. A highlight was the restaurant he took us to for lunch. It was out of the high tourist areas but right on a beach and the food was excellent and reasonably priced.

Our guide Tassos was knowledgeable and engaging. He took us places on Rhodes that were appropriate for us. For example we visited the Kalithea cats as I am a retired veterinarian. We also stopped and had a taste of Suoma which is only found on Rhodes and one other island. Of course we also saw all the “Best of Rhodes “ highlights.

Enjoyed an authentic Greek meal we enjoyed greatly. We were disappointed our guide, while good, did not give us more information about Rhodes. He did answer our questions, however. He pretty much was just a driver rather than a true guide like we had on our next two ship excursions.

Mike gave us a great tour. He was early to pick us us at the hotel, very knowledgeable about the history of the island, and the tour was just what we wanted. He located an off the path great spot for us to have a lovely lunch in a remote cove on the water. Did not rush us at all. Highly recommend.
