Awesome Tour

Going during off season was awesome - we (myself, daughter and grandson) were the only ones booked so it felt much more personal - we engaged with Venus and Eden - they were fun and knowledgeable and knew the town and history very well! We would definitely recommend this set of tours - and being woman owned/operated was a big plus for us!!

Thomas was our guide for the first two tours. He is amazing, very knowledgeable about the history and haunts of old Salem, and brought an exciting energy to our tour. 100% recommend this tour to anyone interested in the true history of Salem.

Not what I paid for. Walked Away.

Was deceiving on how to find the place, took a while. The staff seemed young and clueless. We spent the first hour sitting by the water and freezing while a woman asked if we had any questions about being a witch. I thought this was a walking tour and we’d see Salem. We didn’t even leave the place at all for the first “tour” so my wife and I left and toured Salem on our own. I feel ripped off.

Tom was very welcoming and engaging! We were anticipating being shown around to some of the sites that would pertain to the information he had. We signed up for the 'triple threat' and we decided pass in the third part of the tour. We feel like a waste of our money.

It’s not three tours 1. Is a Q and A which I thought was misleading and a waste of time and money 2. And 3. Could be combined imo to save time and money. I just was not impressed.

The first tour wasn't a tour at all. Our tour guide brought us to some tables at the end of the parking lot and answered basic questions we had a about witches. It would've been a nice way to start a tour, but should not be a tour in and of itself. That was a huge disappointment for us and a waste of money. The other 2 tours were pretty good but I never would have booked the Triple Threat Combination had I known the first "tour" was so lackluster. We had the same tour guide for all 3 tours. She was lovely, and I enjoyed the second and third tours, but if I had my time back, I would've booked with a different company. As we were going around, our tour guide was competing for places to stop and talk to us about the history with other, much larger tours that were occuring simultaneously. The guides for the other tours had microphones and seemed to be more theatrical. Don't get me wrong, our guide was lovely dressed the part, but the other tours seemed like they put more into the production. They had larger crowds and kind of took over the streets. Overall, I had a great time. I definitely don't recommend the first "tour" but the other 2 were fun.

Me and my kids had such a fantastic time! Our tour guides were funny and so knowledgeable. They made every moment fun and we all learned so much!! Definitely was one of the best parts of visiting Salem!!

Our guide, Thomas, seemed extremely knowledgeable about the area, and history. He was definitely personable, and made the walk seem much shorter than it really was with his humor and facts. Evidently, his dog joins him on more pleasant days - we didn’t get to meet him because of the rain. I would definitely recommend this tour for anyone looking for something a little different, and less commercial than the average. The starting point is well off the beaten path, but this only made for a better walk, and better tours in my opinion. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to take the third tour because my wife and I were frozen and ill-prepared for the chill of the day alongside the rain.

Our tour guide Kevin was amazing! He knew we knew little about the area and was able to both present the information in an intelligent fashion and make us feel as if we were around a campfire hundreds of years ago, and had an answer for our many questions. As a matter of fact we enjoyed the tour so much we spent a few hundred dollars in the gift shop because this was our top memory of this trip from California to Salem. Thanks for being there ! Way more than we expected for the price

Sadly missed the first tour (our own fault) However, the second tour with Tom and the third tour with Kat was amazing. We learned a bunch of history and spooky stories about Salem and the with trials. They were both funny and went with the vibes of the group. Extremely knowledgeable and was able to answer the questions that we had for them!
